  1. I also made them for the LSU game, and that woman from the Houston Tiger Club drug her husband over and made me give him the recipe.
  2. I think it depends on how much vouchers and other top priority fuckery eat up the session. That's what saved it last time, and I don't really see them calling a special just to amend the weed bill. Patrick and Abbott are really the only ones that have a hard on to kill it. Hell, the house has passed a few legalization bills that died in the Senate because Patrick won't even bring it to the floor.
  3. I think I've mentioned on here before that my childhood best friend grew up to be the worst person I know? He's an openly racist, homophobic, antisemitic, conspiracy theorist Pentecostal "pastor" and big Trump supporter. A few years ago he was bragging on FB that 23& me had confirmed his English and Scandinavian heritage, and he was only 1% Ashkenazi Jew, which he explained to everyone was different than the Zionist Jesus killing kind. Fast Forward to Covid times, and he's railing against "the jab" because he doesn't want "Them" to have his DNA or a tracking chip. I pointed out to him that Soros and Gates had everything they needed between his 23 & Me DNA sample and that phone he was using to post on FB that he carried with him everywhere. Went about how you'd expect.
  4. Mmmmm...Jerk Chicken Tacos with a little mango and habanero slaw on a Naan "tortilla". Heading to HEB, brb.
  5. I want to make beautiful bi-racial babies with Asha Rangappa
  6. My first presidential election was 1988. I voted for Dukakis over Bush and I've voted democrat in every presidential election since.
  7. No, at least 50% of the 172M didn't watch but are rage posting about it on social media.
  8. Whew, for a minute I thought they had ended their football program.
  9. "No weirdo, no weirdo...you're the weirdo!"
  10. I think some (not all) of this is a consequence of gerrymandering. Take the old Tx31 for example. That district went from the North Austin WilCo neighborhoods all the way up to Ft Hood and parts of Milam county. The Democratic part of that district was heavily weighted to N Austin, CP, and Round Rock, so in a D primary "Jim" the Pediatrician or Lawyer or whatever from Bertram would get trounced by "Mary" the tech worker from Cedar Park...even though "Jim" had a better message to appeal to the rest of the district. I saw it happen time and time again. Now, I guess you could put some of that on the TDP for not suggesting to Mary she would get more party support if she ran for a county commissioners court seat or school board or something.
  11. White Dudes for Harris call up to 90K registrations. Walz, Pritzker, and Doug Jones added as speakers.
  12. Who's the "Elect more women" woman? Asking for a friend.
  13. Don't blame me, I voted for Roland Gutierrez
