  1. Should have wiped up those drops of jupiter
  2. Confirmed. But I’m technically in Georgetown
  3. There's a whole Instagram page of tourists getting fucked up by wild animals in Yellowstone.
  4. Fake name burner phone never be the home team wrap it up
  5. I wonder where we'd be if some Parkland parent had savagely beaten her ass for following their kids around and heckling them. I'm talking the Georgia trailer park special. Broken jaw, knock out a few teeth, maybe break a rib. Would she have crawled back to the holler and opened a strip mall crossfit gym, never to be heard from again?
  6. Was that from the storm that spawned the Cedar Park and Jarrell tornados? I was working at the Custom Sounds store that used to be on S. Congress and Academy when that storm hit. The straight line winds came right down Congress. Our storefront had two 4'x8' windows on the Academy side of the corner that had an aluminum strip between them that blew out and drove rain into the store like it had been shot out of a high pressure hose. Still can't believe the windows didn't break. There were limbs down and trees uprooted all over the place after that one.
  7. Going to the 11th. Watching these two staffs deal makes me hate Pierce that much more.
  8. and probably 2-3 minutes before they needed new head gaskets One of my son's best friends had one. Blew it up in about 6 months.
  9. My first car was a '73 Regal that looked JUST like this, only white. My grandfather gave it to me when I turned 16. It had a rust hole in the trunk you could drop a cooler all the way through, but it had a 455 Big Block Buick V8. You could floor it and watch the speedometer and gas gauge move in different directions. My Grandfather bought an 84 Regal that looked just like this Cutlass, and the 73 became his work car. He drove it to the Texico refinery in Port Arthur every day and by the time he gave it to me, the paint looked like it had been in a sandstorm.
  10. Yep, same. My 2017 Tundra is hopefully the last truck I'll ever buy. It's paid off, and it's the best truck I've ever owned. At some point in the future, I'd like to get a sporty little coupe to drive around town and for weekend getaways and the like. Hopefully in the next couple years there will be some plugin hybrid cars that fit the bill. Mercedes AMG has the C43, which has the type of powertrain I'm talking about...a turbo 4 with hybrid assist, 400HP, 30ish MPG and a 4 second 0-60...but it's fucking ugly. If BMW would offer a similar powertrain in an M car, I'd probably get on the waiting list for it right now.
  11. Yea, we got about 5 minutes of pea sized hail and maybe 15 minutes of pretty hard rain. Just enough to keep the mtb trails closed another week.
  12. Son is a swimmer, daughter runs track. The worst "Cost per minute" had to be round trip airfare and 3 days in a hotel to watch your daughter run for 58 seconds at AAU Jr Olympics. Both my kids thought they wanted to run/swim in college...until some of their older teammates got the opportunity and came home with stories about how much it sucked. As Brisket posted above, it's a huge time commitment, and unless you're Olympics level elite you'd almost always be better off having a traditional college experience.
  13. Guess I'll just stand here and wait for that money to trickle down...
  14. Not the thread bump I was hoping for, but it will do.
  15. That looks like it will arrive just in time for my dogs to wake me up freaking out at 3:00 AM.
  16. Depending on what kind of ground you're on, I've seen guys use a spare tire as an anchor point. Dig a deep and narrow hole, run the recovery strap through the center of the wheel, then drop it vertically into the hole.
  17. It really just needs to be a flying gas tank with a small incendiary warhead and a radio controller. Probably a 2 cylinder or 3 cylinder rotax knockoff. Just do the math on fuel consumption and build accordingly. Shit, Google says a Cessna 172 has a range of around 1,000 Km
  18. Hopefully we're sending more guns or at least barrels along with the ammo.
