It really was uncanny. He'd feel backside pressure that wasn't really there, ignore the clean pocket two steps forward, then panic-run into frontside pressure and fall down.
Personally, I would never trade any vintage 911 for a 928. A proper Porsche has the engine in the back.
Edit: I MIGHT trade a 996 with a Tiptronic for a manual 928.
The single biggest...and I mean BIGGEST... mistake I ever made in taking home a casual partner was the result of consuming more than two of their OG Mexican Martinis. I met a buddy and his fiancée and her fat sister for drinks. Fiancée wasn't drinking, but bought her ration of two and let fat sister and me split them (after we each had our two). Next thing you know I'm giving her the two pump special and hopping across her living room while trying to put my pants on and find my car keys at the same time.
That makes no sense to me. Replace Leonard with Quinn and there's no way they are in the final this year. Milroe makes a lot more sense to me for what ND does with their QB.
oh I didn't mean the sports aspect helped beyond having an extra-curricular that he stuck with for 4 years and had a college minded coach that piled them up with volunteer hours
This was what I did with my son. 4 year varsity swimmer, but not interested in swimming in college. I encouraged him to stick it out for 4 years because it shows you can stick with something for 4 years. (maybe it helps, who TF knows). Also, his swim coach teaches several AP STEM classes and has been great about finding volunteer opportunities for the team.
