  1. It could cause millions of dollars in improvements
  2. I don't know shit about fuck, but it seems weird they were going INTO Canada, per the initial report. Looking at that video, it looks like the area past the guard shack they blew up is a holding area or something. I wonder if they got stopped, told to go "over there" for additional screening and figured the jig was up, and decided to try to take out a few infidels rather than getting arrested?
  3. I listened to this again this morning, and my favorite part is the credit he gives Bijan and Roschon for helping to change the culture. As if I didn't already love those guys, their work ethic and attitude live on with the younger guys growing up and passing it down to the next bunch. Exactly as it should be. It doesn't seem like we've had that culture of player led accountability since 09.
  4. My daughter and I made Carbonara last night. Couldn’t find Guanciale close to me, but I found this pork jowl bacon. 25g Pecorino Romano and 35g Parmesan, about 20 whole black peppercorns toasted, then run through my pepper mill, 4 egg yolks, and a couple splashes of grease from the rendered bacon (let it cool a little first) start with a half cup of pasta water and mix it until smooth and creamy adding more pasta water as needed. I did this in a metal bowl in a double boiler arrangement to warm the sauce and temper the yolks. (Reserve some extra pasta water, because when you add in your cooked pasta the sauce will want to clump a little…at least mine did) Bam
  5. That might be the only time I'd be okay hearing an SEC! chant in DKR.
  6. Oh god, please let it be Fisch. He was born in NJ, went to school at Florida (never played college football), and has spent most of his career in the NFL. He's also 14-21 as a P5 head coach. He's making $2.6M this year so I'm sure they could money whip him, but I'd think after 10 minutes in College Station he'd be desperately calling the Arizona AD to beg for his job back.
  7. Did a Longhorn fuck Joey Galloway's girl or something? He's been talking shit about Texas all season and he just did it again on ESPN. "Texas has struggled lately. Alabama is a better team." Fuck this douche.
  8. The only way I could see Michigan sliding back in would be if Iowa pulled a rabbit out of their hat and beat OSU in the Big 10 title game. But I feel like if Michigan loses The Game, the committee might bury them given the controversy surrounding the program right now. Stick them down around 8-9 to make sure they can't sneak back in.
  9. Fox says he's happy to guard henhouse if guard dog dies.
  10. It's the Santos thread. Nothing should be surprising.
  11. If he doesn't land at aggy he will get one of the other jobs coming open. That said I've always thought he'd be the one in spite of some aggy thinking they're somehow too good for an ex-HS coach that has had moderate success as a lower level CFB HC. Of the realistic candidates he's the best fit for their weirdness. I'm sure the aggys who arent thrilled with the hire will talk themselves into him being the next Saban by the spring game. Too soon for "don't care, got Jeff!" Tshirts and mugs? They’ll be trying to copyright BEast Texas before the introductory press conference
  12. Dude's going to qualify for a league pension at this rate.
  13. Sweat's stat line for the season is 36 tackles and 2 sacks. Doesn't tell the story AT ALL. The guy is disruptive on every play and takes on double teams so other guys can get home. Like when a really great CB has poor stats because no one throws at him, he absolutely changes the game. Dude's going to make money in the league...hopefully for a long time.
  14. He probably should have rented...
  15. "Texas only beat Bama because Milroe sucks"
  16. Those NCAA Basketball officials called the Louisville game last night like they had money on Louisville.
  17. 3 more, if that Colorado game had lasted another 4 minutes.
  18. My girlfriend is a Michigan alum, so I've watched most of their games this year. They are very run heavy, and there's not a single receiver on their team that would scare me. They also haven't faced a front seven like ours all year. Take away their run game and we would beat them by 2 touchdowns.
  19. Vikings shouldn’t have settled for that last fg.
