  1. For those on the list . . . Too soon?
  2. Ok. Well if that’s the case, then instead of our typical tunnel entrance, I say put in a grass ramp from the second level balcony just above the “Campbell-Williams Field” sign and put the mounted horns at the top for all the players see and tap as they run down the ramp. I think that would be special, you know, if mandated to allow Clemson an entrance video.
  3. Yeah, I get that. That’s why I used the phrase “if we could have developed” what referencing a run game.
  4. I largely don’t disagree with you, but just maybe and this might sound crazy, but perhaps things turn out differently if we could have developed some sort of run game. Maybe we run for a TD in the red zone rather than having to rely on the pass. When you don’t have a run game then your opposition can pass interfere knowing that what follows will be more passes.
  5. I mean, right? Clemson ranks 75th in rushing defense, 60th in passing defense, and 65th in total defense. Anyone can take a blueprint, but not everyone can build (execute) on the design if you don’t have the same tools. That looks more like aggy than Georgia’s defense to me.
  6. Not to worry. Aggy will effectively respond with one or a combination of some boycott, a sternly worded letter to the powers behind setting the game time, an open records request (if applicable), skewing some online poll denouncing the start time, and the always popular - blaming Texas for the reason the game is starting so late.
  7. So, do we know if TNT is going to have any pregame shows or activities maybe simulcasting ESPN? Otherwise, are we seeing a “Friends” or “NCIS: New Orleans” marathon leading into the game?
  8. Are you James Franklin? Basically, that’s his opinion. Everyone play the same number of conference games, everyone needs to be in a conference (looking at you Notre Dame), and every conference should have or not have a conference championship game. I think that is a good take.
  9. Every team is out to get UCLA. It’s chalked up as an easy W.
  10. What? The computers: But, it’s Notre Dame.
  11. Oof. That 3 and 4 seed decision and the Fiesta bowl.
  12. Yeah, Texas football history didn’t begin in 2005. We have past QBs that probably think, man, if only I had the tools around me that Quinn has.
  13. I think the unlucky thing that happened is that Georgia’s pressure started getting to Quinn. Slow developing works when a healthy, mobile (enough) quarterback has time to make a pass or scramble away from pressure to make a pass.
  14. Well Dabo did say that God was going to have Clemson win, so.
  15. Well, I wouldn’t call Ewers broke. But, your point is well taken. Also, Ewers is not cross-eyed.
  16. I love this year’s defense and I was partly joking. So, agree, but arguably the 2005 defense also made some absolute championship driving critical plays to put VY in a position to score. Exhibit A - Rose Bowl, 4 and 1, LenDale White. Defense, no pressure. Go make that stop. 1983 defense. I won’t budge much. They held Georgia to 10 points in the Cotton Bowl. Not their fault we lost. Fuck.
  17. Fuck you. - Texas 1983 defense. 2005 defense also agrees.
  18. Quinn is not 100%. He does not have the mobility to elude rushes from elite Ds at this point. Sark is not doing him any favors calling slower developing plays. That’s a liability in games when we cannot develop a running game like today to keep the Ds honest. So, what, just chuck the ball up in a lofty arc and cross fingers that the two bad things don’t happen.
  19. I’m not sure it is above average. Shit plays cancelling out really good plays to make it average at best.
  20. Should have kept Manning in for overtime. He’s a better dual threat that would made Georgia work for it. If we get stopped, then kick the field goal. At least it would been a better wrinkle.
  21. Sark: ok, I’m calling the most fucked up plays I can think of. Quinn, make them happen.
