  1. Thank you! Thank you so much. Well, this is unexpected. Well, actually not. We suspected we could be the recipient, but all things just needed to fall in place just right. And they did! First, much thanks needs to go here at home to FSU. Thanks to our administration for very vocally earlier this year lobbying to leave a weak ACC. That was integral to getting where we ended up on Sunday. To that call out of the weak ACC, thank you FSU. Also, to that point, thank you to the ACC (some applause). Thank you Clemson, Miami, and Mack - where are you? there - thank you. I know I’m forgetting other crappy teams, so apologies in advance. Now, Louisville (emotional pause), a special thanks to you for being so inept Saturday night. For stepping on your dicks as you did. Whoops, sorry to the censors for that! (hearty laughs). You lost to a crappy SEC UK team and then dug deep to follow it up with so much help in being horribly bad on Saturday. Credit to you. We love you. Now, credit to F - S - U!!! Seven three and outs!! (Applause), nine punts!! (growing applause), 55 yards passing!! (thunderous applause). We did it!! We kept us out of the playoffs. Again, thank you so much for this craptastic honor. We want to be humble, but I’m sorry, we truly deserve it. (FSU begins to exit stage, but returns to mic). Oh, wait, wait. One more (looking directly at Big 10 and PAC 12, sitting next to ACC) I almost forgot to thank you for working so closely and so well with the ACC to effectively postpone the 12 team playoff this year. Without your strong alliance, we would have made the playoffs this year and played Liberty, while avoiding OU who would have been left out even though ranked No. 12. We couldn’t forget that strange and lovely coming together of the three of you all. I’m sure Oregon, Penn State, and Ohio State are also very thankful for your immense efforts. Thank you. Ok, that’s all we got! That music means we reached our time limit! (Alabama Alma mater starts playing in the background)
  2. She epitomizes aggy. Highly debatable opinions, false narratives, and challenges the others to prove her wrong on her erroneous positions. The discussion was also consistent with what we typically see in other similar discussions - everyone laughs at aggy’s idiotic assertions and aggy becomes infuriated because the idiotic assertions are not accepted as gospel.
  3. Donnie Little, subject to check, was our first black QB playing most of the season in '79 and some of '80. We were top 5-8 most of '79. Granted QB at Texas in that era meant run, run, run, then maybe pass. Beat OU twice. Then suffered injuries in late '79, wheels came off, and he lost the starting QB job to Rick McIvor mid '80. Still, Donnie played at running back and mostly wide receiver in '80 and '81, including a great win in the Cotton Bowl against Bama.
  4. https://www.si.com/college/texas/football/oklahoma-state-cowboys-coach-mike-gundy-predicts-texas-longhorns-steve-sarkisian-stay-in-his-box-big-12-championship "(Coach Sarkisian) wants to run the football, he's always wanted to run the football," Gundy said. "He's going to max protect. He's going to throw the ball down the field eight to 10 times a game. He's going to max protect and run those guys down the field and try to throw the ball over your head and get big plays. He's going to run his zone play, he's going to run his counter and he's going to stay in his box. That's what he does. He's going to use his tight ends, he's going to move them. He's going to block down. He's going to drag them across the field. That's what he does and he pretty much stays in his box.”
  5. I mean, really. The guy is a glorified used car salesman.
  6. Apples?
  7. Upon reading this post and as to Sark getting a big monied extension, aggy is asking "what are the stupid sips waiting for?"
  8. Only happens if the seminole tries to spear the bulldog when the dog is brought around to meet the seminole before the game.
  9. Imagine a 12 team playoff this year. Liberty would also knock out OU at the 12th seed. One year too late.
  10. Ha, Liberty would have knocked OU out of a 12 team playoff this year.
  11. Still can’t get it to start.
  12. Maybe, just maybe, at some point one of them may ask “should we take up tea sipping?”
  13. Ewers on the CFP show right now
  14. Haven’t been watching. Has Plummer finally avoided a sack and completed a pass?
  15. TEXAS: Day 1, SEC ready. aggy: still can’t figure out why lawnmower won’t start
  16. Happy about our placement. Shit though, I live two miles away from the Rose Bowl. Would have been great to make the very short trip for the game.
  17. Nothing will surprise me today.
  18. Agree. I think after picking the top four, it’s who really is the best of the rest throwing out conference championships, etc. So, if FSU were to play Georgia tomorrow, who would win? After today’s games, would FSU even score against any of the top four candidates?
  19. I don’t follow her. So don’t know. Here’s her rationale that she believes the committee would consider. Georgia was No. 1, so considered the best team for most of the season and still. one of the bests. FSU is now lacking key personnel (QB or QBs) and the committee takes that into consideration, which impacts whether FSU is still one of the four best teams. It’s not and not better than Georgia.
  20. For what it’s worth from a few minutes ago.
  21. I can see the other teams in the playoff mix scoring at least 20 to 27 points on FSU. I don’t see FSU scoring more than 7 against those teams. That’s evident from this game. That’s an important metric here.
  22. You’re not wrong, but you seem to take this really personally.
