  1. And the Legion of Doom too!
  2. The refs, the SEC, the BOMC, the UN, the European Union, Wall Street (except for the Standard and Poors index), Trump, Biden, both Kellogg's and General Mills, Miller and Anheuser-Busch, and all the Mexican breweries are all against us. They’re paying everyone to have the Whorns win! Arrhhhggghh!
  3. Scenes coming in from Columbus following the game.
  4. The potential big difference is that he felt good.
  5. Substitute for Elko in that quote any of Fran, Sherman, Sumlin, or Jimbo and any aggy will begrudgingly admit they’ve said that before. Along with next year is our year.
  6. Yep. I gotta say that I’m enthusiastically waiting for the first U.S. president to be elected to have sleeve and neck tattoos. Of course the ink will be faded a bit. There may be a few out there already that did not remove the barbed wire bicep and tramp stamp tattoos, but that’s different.
  7. Exactly. You shoot your dick early in the season and give it time to heal. With time, everyone forgets it even happened no matter how embarrassing it was. - Notre Dame
  8. You didn’t say that. But if you want to move the goal posts, we played for a mythical NC in 1983 and also 1977 (just outside your 20 year range). I don’t even count the cold day in Dallas against Miami as one. You’re further making my point though. All that talent and great years and Mack could only get to two NC games? So, shitty teams in the 20 years before Mack could just about get to the same place with less? And again, OU had a lot to do with that. Texas beats OU > Texas wins Big XII > Texas likely plays for NC. Well, unless Texas loses to Colorado. I mean, how can that not be clear?
  9. Five conference championships in the 20 years prior to Mack. Two conference championships in 16 years under Mack. One Mack NC and one other played. One fumble arguably away from a NC in 1983. Choose a different metric and I might agree with you. As to OU, Texas had a winning record (10-8-2) against them in the 20 years before Mack. Mack went 6-10. OU won 8 Big XII championships during Mack’s tenure. You’re fooling yourself if you think there is no correlation to Mack’s lack of success winning championships and not beating OU.
  10. O, U think that is all there was to Mack Brown’s tenure at Texas? O and U you also think there was nothing that prevented Texas during his tenure from winning more conference championships and playing for more NCs?
  11. Point being, it happened. Now imagine Texas beating aggy at Kyle field, in Texas’s first year in the SEC to clinch a spot in the conference championship game denying aggy from making it. That adds a little bit of relevance to the game. Now throw out a bunch of sip fans to rush the field surrounded by fake army. I’ll sit by and see what happens. To your point though, they argued after the fact that the sip fans were rushing on to their sacred, memorial field. Take it for what it’s worth.
  12. It was in 1995 when we won the last SWC. I’ll see if can find the pictures of the corp turds attacking the UT fans. I have a picture of my mind of a corp idiot punching a UT fan in the back of the neck.
  13. Won it in the last year in the SWC. Won it in the first year of the Big 12. Won it in the last year in the Big 12 . . .
  14. That guy is a hoot. Texas should feed the troll and video a thousand or so people storm the field at DKR right as the Horns win this coming week. Then put the video on all aggy social media sites. Can’t do it at Pyle, otherwise some manslaughter and a few murders would likely occur.
  15. True that. But, I would expect the answer to be that Alabama took them lightly and was shocked by an OU team that is clearly not yet SEC ready even though they are a true blue blood and not the “we’re back” Texas pretender. There’s always a narrative.
  16. I can see that if the score was 21-20 and Kentucky had the ball on our 20 yard line driving to score a TD to take the lead. Instead the D stopped them at our 43 at 4th and 20. We took over running the ball after that. I think it is an overstatement to say a QB controversy would ensue if Arch came in for the 4th quarter. And, playing dinged up is one thing. Taking the chance of fucking up the ankle worse and risking not playing against your biggest rival for the chance to play in the SEC title game is quite another thing.
  17. I like Quinn. I am not in the camp that he sucks and is the liability from our being the shoe in CFP title winner. But, given his injury, I don’t understand why Sark trotted him out in the 4th quarter. We had a 15 play, 8 minute drive, every one of them a run. Yeah, I know it is an easy job Quinn did on that drive. But, Arch could have handed the ball off 15 teams and have Quinn prop his ankle up on the sidelines.
  18. When Florida beats Ole Miss, it just means more. When they lose to Texas it doesn’t and they suck. When Arkansas beats Tennessee, it just means more. When they lose to Texas, it doesn’t and they suck. When Kentucky beats Ole Miss, it just means more. When they lose to Texas, it doesn’t and they suck. When Vanderbilt beats Alabama, it just means more. When they lose to Texas, it doesn’t and they suck.
  19. Very long pause . . . “Now a thank you to our sponsors. The Texas Farm Bureau, supporting Texas farmers for more than 100 years. And Wing Stop. Bring your Aggie-TU football ticket receipt and get three free wings with the purchase of any 6 wing meal. You can also use your receipt for free admission to Aggie lady Volleyball against Sam Houston State on December 2nd. That’s it folks. We’ll see you in a week.”
  20. Just got home from a nice dinner and nice to see the final score. Well done Auburn.
  21. Yeah, and? Also, if those posting on the game threads are complaining about the QB, then I would say there’s some suffering. So let’s call us sufferable pricks.
  22. Well I hope not. It would mean we are scoring more touchdowns than field goals.
  23. Lloyd Christmas is both shocked and excited at the same time learning about this.
