  1. We couldn’t move the ball on these scrubs at home without personal fouls. With all our weapons. Still perplexes me.
  2. I been in College Station all day, not much burnt orange. Mildly depressing atmosphere.
  3. The Ags were spreading a rumor that Quinn tweaked the oblique in practice. That’s probably what is being referenced.
  4. Makes sense if Quinn’s practice ability looks anything like the 2nd half vs Kentucky. Arch is enough to beat Aggy. It’d allow Quinn another week to get his body right.
  5. Does Quinn survive A&M and UGA back to back? I don’t think he has to play to beat A&M. Arch may even match up better.
  6. I think the people blaming Quinn for all of our issues are dumb. Although he does appear to be one of the weaker links of the offense since October. Our offensive line can really take over games late. Our WRs create a lot of separation and run consistent routes. Our RBs lack mass, but they’re doing their best. The TE’s have been great all year. Quinn looks really banged up. He moves like an old man. I’ll be pleasantly surprised if he bounces back these next two weeks.
  7. Not a sustainable game plan with our backs. You can’t run Wisner 25 plus times a game. Blue & Gibson are averaging a fumble a game. We need at least average QB play to keep this offense rolling.
  8. No, we’re not. We’re all Longhorns. Why would we want to watch goofy ass QB play every Saturday? The dude moves like he’s 45. Velocity is non existent. The deep ball is hall of fame trash. His pocket presence was pretty good today, I was slightly encouraged.
  9. I may be wrong, but I don’t think we’re the kind of team who can afford to look over a Kentucky. They’ve competed well against comparable QBs and defensive fronts. We didn’t exactly light up the worst secondary in the P5 yesterday.
  10. I don’t think anyone thinks Arch is objectively “better” than a three starter at QB. A better fit? Who knows. This offense is in dire need of a threat. Whether it’s a deep ball or a third down scramble. Offensive football is so dumbed down today that you just need a guy who can hit the open man. Hopefully Quinn can bounce back, he’s got some real tests the next couple weeks.
  11. “Let’s see what happens”. Even if it’s a first round exit? Fuck it. Im down for the ride.
  12. There’s a lot of hurt Longhorns in this thread in serious denial. Quinn has always been an inconsistent player, but it’s just been egregious at times this season. I want to see him successful as much as anyone, but our offense is pedestrian. My old man chewed me out on the phone today, “I’ve been watching ball 35 years, this mother fucker is no good”. I don’t agree with that sentiment entirely, but I don’t think his assessment is far off.
  13. I don’t know, things started getting a little sketchy when those defensive snaps were getting higher and higher. Once Norton and crew check in, that ball starts to move down field.
  14. Did you watch QB play at OU the week prior? Or during the UGA game? Or today vs Arkansas? Why are we all pretending that it’s not our reality? Because he lit up Michigan? Many QBs have at this point.
  15. That was a good team. This Hog team lost to an Oklahoma State team with 3 wins. I’m not interested in y’all’s mental gymnastics. I already said I’m along for the ride, I’m just disgruntled is all. My disgruntled meter is elevating watching another team drive on UGA, something we couldn’t do without personal foul calls.
