  1. To be fair, he got hurt because of a terrible throw made by a QB that probably should have sat the game out. He also got setup multiple times on late throws to the post where he was predictably decapitated. He probably had other ideas for how he’d be utilized in the offense.
  2. What’s the story on Clark anyways? I heard he was cutting heavily on that Achilles, at full-speed. They ship him down to Mexico for some stemmies?
  3. Neto looks huge in practice videos. He makes DJ Campbell look like a left tackle. If Christian Clark is really full-go, you got to think inside zone is going to be our bread & butter this season. That interior offensive line is massive.
  4. It’s baseball. The ball rolls the other teams way some nights. The LSU team we play this weekend lost to Omaha. Shit starts going off the rails if you start to lose them consistently like Aggy.
  5. At least Farmer is a decent defensive piece. He kills offensive attacks though.
  6. Rojas giving up contact but outfield has to make a play on those balls.
  7. I’ve been watching a lot of draft content on Texas Longhorns. Whenever I’m watching an analyst go through Goldens film, they’re constantly shocked by the mediocre balls thrown his way. Ironically, I think it allowed him to show off his ridiculous catch radius and contested catch ability. That deep ball against Clemson is a great example. That should be a house call, but instead it’s a Golden Circus catch.
  8. JD definitely pays bills with his Aggie content alone. Even Aggies are a bit suspicious about his fluctuating optimism in the comment section.
  9. Yeah, close up shop. Whatever transcendent talent Quinn possessed appeared to neutralized by the Dallas Turner pile driver. He was still one of the best to do it here in quite some time and is a really young guy. David Ash in retrospect looks like the best prospect of the Texas QBs of the last 15 years. He was big, fast, huge arm, and would take huge developmental leaps each off-season. He also seemed to really love football. Quinn never seemed all that interested in the result of a game. David would have gotten it done. I think Sam would have gotten it done, it’s not like the ‘25 offense was some high flying aerial assault. I think Shane would have a had a shot too in a revised down field version of Sarks offense.
  10. Buchele could air that hoe out. Gilbert could move the chains just about as well as Quinn.
  11. Yall boys crack me up. Never change.
  12. i agree that the ‘25 offensive line probably won’t be a better pass blocking unit than ‘24. Kelvin Banks was about as good as it gets on the left side. Conner wasn’t a plus starter but he was surprisingly sound In pass sets. Majors was pretty solid in many aspects, he just lacked raw power. Campbell improved to serviceable. Cam when healthy was tough to beat, Georgia was the only team really able to get after him. As a unit they were pretty good, half their sacks were Quinn laying down after his first couple reads were taken away. I think the ‘25 line will look like a better pass blocking until because of teams opting for more contain rushing alignments and Arch avoiding pressure.
  13. Yeah if Kanu is 305, Terry isn’t far behind him.
  14. That’s spontaneous for sure. He was one of my favorite Longhorns last year. Everytime he got snaps he was violent. I remember he almost killed a Michigan DE as a counter blocker.

He’s my favorite Longhorn receiver of recent memory. He’s everything you want in a football player. Just a fucking dog. It’s insane our offense would stall out so consistently with the weapons at hand.
  16. Based on what? Last time I checked a majority of our Big12 conference mates were getting way more guys drafted than Texas. Unless you’re referencing our recruiting rankings full of guys we never developed and were never heard of again.
  17. Just ran a 4.39 unofficial.
  18. I got love for Quinn. What he did to OU was incredible. He put it on A&M too, before he tried to give it to them. Great representative of the program as well. He was the catalyst for the roster upgrade under Sark too. There’s tons of reasons to praise Quinn’s time at Texas. His Jr year at Texas is not one of them in my opinion. We didn’t need the transcendent player the recruiting services said he was, just a steady hand to make a play or two. 17 turnovers in 14 games is ridiculous. Sam Ehlinger would have won a national title with this roster. Shane probably would have gotten it done too. I don’t even know why I’m contributing to this thread anymore, it just makes me sad. The Texas defense was great, no one pantsed them.
  19. 102 defensive snaps. The dude had 46 rushing yards at half with a ton of attempts. If the offense could have stayed on the field, I bet his 2nd half performance wouldn’t have been nearly as productive.
  20. Crazy you’d take this stance. The defense consistently bailed out a stalling offense all-season. A&M, Arkansas, Kentucky, Vandy, SEC Title game, Arizona State, etc. Throwing them under the bus for a 3rd year QB with 17 turnovers in 14 games is interesting.
  21. The defense shut him down if you don’t recall. He was scolding trainers and teammates in frustration on the sidelines from lack of success. The defense played way too many snaps, they were plugging the run and chasing Levitt all over the field. Eventually, they gassed out.
  22. If Cam Williams and Isaiah Bond have the combine performances I expect, we would have had five top 50 draft picks starting on offense in 2024. Possibly a few more draft picks scattered throughout that ‘24 offensive class. Paired with a historically great defense. It’s amazing we didn’t play for a national title. It’s even more incomprehensible that we were inches away from a loss to Arizona State.
  23. Barron just missed a sub 4.3 time. I think that 4.4 solidifies his early first round status.
