  1. That’s spontaneous for sure. He was one of my favorite Longhorns last year. Everytime he got snaps he was violent. I remember he almost killed a Michigan DE as a counter blocker.

He’s my favorite Longhorn receiver of recent memory. He’s everything you want in a football player. Just a fucking dog. It’s insane our offense would stall out so consistently with the weapons at hand.
  3. Based on what? Last time I checked a majority of our Big12 conference mates were getting way more guys drafted than Texas. Unless you’re referencing our recruiting rankings full of guys we never developed and were never heard of again.
  4. Just ran a 4.39 unofficial.
  5. I got love for Quinn. What he did to OU was incredible. He put it on A&M too, before he tried to give it to them. Great representative of the program as well. He was the catalyst for the roster upgrade under Sark too. There’s tons of reasons to praise Quinn’s time at Texas. His Jr year at Texas is not one of them in my opinion. We didn’t need the transcendent player the recruiting services said he was, just a steady hand to make a play or two. 17 turnovers in 14 games is ridiculous. Sam Ehlinger would have won a national title with this roster. Shane probably would have gotten it done too. I don’t even know why I’m contributing to this thread anymore, it just makes me sad. The Texas defense was great, no one pantsed them.
  6. 102 defensive snaps. The dude had 46 rushing yards at half with a ton of attempts. If the offense could have stayed on the field, I bet his 2nd half performance wouldn’t have been nearly as productive.
  7. Crazy you’d take this stance. The defense consistently bailed out a stalling offense all-season. A&M, Arkansas, Kentucky, Vandy, SEC Title game, Arizona State, etc. Throwing them under the bus for a 3rd year QB with 17 turnovers in 14 games is interesting.
  8. The defense shut him down if you don’t recall. He was scolding trainers and teammates in frustration on the sidelines from lack of success. The defense played way too many snaps, they were plugging the run and chasing Levitt all over the field. Eventually, they gassed out.
  9. If Cam Williams and Isaiah Bond have the combine performances I expect, we would have had five top 50 draft picks starting on offense in 2024. Possibly a few more draft picks scattered throughout that ‘24 offensive class. Paired with a historically great defense. It’s amazing we didn’t play for a national title. It’s even more incomprehensible that we were inches away from a loss to Arizona State.
  10. Barron just missed a sub 4.3 time. I think that 4.4 solidifies his early first round status.
  11. Gerry was saying on OTF that Elkos recruiting strategy was a full court press for early momentum/commitments with an understanding that there will be plenty of deflections. Basically a numbers game.
  12. The WVU RB looks like a twitched up Tre Wisner. He would have been a great fit for the ‘24 offense but I don’t know if he’s what we’re looking for next season. Though he might be the best available in the spring window.
  13. His film is a bit underwhelming. Nice frame though.
  14. Apparently Jahiem White returned to WVU to play for Chad Scott. I wonder if we’d bring him in. He’s only 5’8 200lbs, but he is explosive and powerful. Clark & Baxter will need time to get up to speed.

  16. Run game has held Sark back from two consecutive national title births. Quinn wasn’t great, but he was good enough to capture one. Better then that KSU transplant at Ohio State. Makes sense he’d want to bring someone in coming from a prolific ground game.
  17. Or said he could cover. He would account for at least one big coverage bust a game.
  18. Gerry mentioned on OTF that people close to the situation have told him Orphey is the Cornerbacks Coach. I’m curious of what that means for the rest of the secondary. Maybe a Joseph departure is also imminent. He & Gideon finally clicked this season.
  19. The casuals will still credit our ascension to Quinn. Sarks staff has been recruiting and developing at an elite level. Dogs everywhere. I’ll always love Quinn though for his treatment of OU, Aggy, and Hog.
  20. Some of these swings aren’t even close.
  21. High fast ball bailing him out consistently.
  22. That second strike on Mendoza was nasty, almost made me throw up.
  23. Is Max Wright a swing tackle? How many tackles are we thinking of taking?
