  1. Hold Cam and Bond out vs ASU. Wingo and Goosby might actually be better fits for the wide zone blocking scheme.
  2. I’d hate to see Niblett go, he popped off the screen every snap he had. I remember he almost killed a Michigan DE on chip block.
  3. I’ve been watching Quinn turn the ball over whimsically all season. Prior to injury too. The Spring Game, Colorado State, UTSA, OU, Kentucky, A&M, Arkansas, Vandy, Georgia, etc. The guy is going to cough the ball up, and not even in a cool gun slinger kind of way, but in a lame lackadaisical way. I think we can overcome it as long as it’s not consistently on our side of the field.
  4. That’s much better. I demand excellence out of you all. Mom’s basement is such a 2003 phrase by the way. Rent is so ridiculous , I wish my mom did have a snazzy basement I could crash in.
  5. You olds piss me the hell off sometimes. How are you going to make a statement like “you sure?” And then post that. That looks like Taylor Swift. She damn near looks like Randy Johnson from the back.
  6. Is Sydir actually in the portal or did someone fuck up some paperwork?
  7. I just want to see a clean game. The statline somewhat reflect the scoreboard. If we take their lunch money and fuck on they mommas, let’s see a nice lead. Ya know?
  8. Game managers don’t turn the ball over consistently. I love anyone who goes to war for the Burnt Orange. Quinn has certainly paid his dues. The guy is held together by duct tape. This team can win a national title. College kids fuck up, you need a QB who can erase a few mistakes a game. Quinn not only contributes to the fuck ups, but he’s not enough to overcome adversity. He’s got two weeks to get relatively healthy. He’s got two decent teams on the docket he should be able to have success against. Maybe the Arch package develops further and we pull off a 2006 Florida Gators run.
  9. How do you even grade out in the 90s throwing two picks? Could have easily been three. You could say the same about the last 6 games though. Hopefully Quinn comes back from the break healthier and bounces back in Austin. I feel like I’ve said that quite a few times this season.
  10. You say that like 2/3 of our team hasn’t been struggling for months. Any front that can run down a screen consistently can take us four quarters.
  11. Only one of those is a playoff team. They beat us twice.
  12. Our QB is going to turn the ball over at least two times a game. Rain or shine. It’s just hard to see 4-0 under those circumstances. I would love to see it though.
  13. The dude is turning the ball over multiple times a game. Whether the offensive line dominates. Whether Burt hits his kicks. Whether Wisner goes for over a hundred. Whether Trevor Goosby stonewalls NFL edge prospects. Rain or shine, the guy is going to turn the ball over in the most whimsical ways. Now I’ve accepted our fate, I know a QB change isn’t on the horizon. I will not be gaslit though.
  14. It is what it is at this point. I assume every playoff team will have enough athletes to run down a tunnel screen. Hard seeing us go 4-0 in our current state. You never know though, college football can be crazy. Our defense gives us a shot.
  15. Alright, I cooled down. I was spitting facts, but I’m willing to accept reality. We have what we have and nothing will change. I’ll be praying for some strategic losses in the playoff. I don’t think we’re beating an Oregon or a Georgia. Or any team who can run down a screen pass consistently. Even a team like Clemson could probably get after us with their front.
  16. Why though? If he’s going to turn the ball over multiple times a game, just give the ball to the Freshman. I’m sure he could manage a couple of bone head picks too. I love Quinn. What are we doing here though? Protecting feelings or winning championships? If we’re just here to protect Quinn’s plummeting draft stock, cool. I won’t get too invested in a deep run.
  17. It’s been all season dude. Colorado State, UTSA, OU, Kentucky, A&M, UGA, etc. He’s had some horrendous turnovers. If Arch throws two picks a game in the playoffs, you have to imagine you’d get a similar result with Quinn.
  18. We ran the ball down Aggys throat for 4Qs straight. Yet somehow it was still a game. Why was that?
  19. I don’t think this assessment is far off, but I’d never talk down on a Texas player like that. The criticism, is warranted. Let’s keep it about Football though.
  20. I don’t think it gets any better from here. Assuming we drop to the 5th seed. Lots of big disruptive defensive lines in those lower seeds. Getting Banks back will help, but it’s not like we’re going to run away from anyone on the scoreboard.
  21. He doesn’t “fucking suck”. He ain’t “good” either though. He makes our offense so hard to watch.
  22. He’s the same guy whether the offensive line dominates or not. Watch the Arkansas game. Watch the A&M game. Watch the OU game. Watch the Kentucky game. Hell, watch any game this season, you’re going to see one to three wacky turnovers by Ewers. Georgia has looked dominant on defense twice this season, both against Texas.
  23. This thread is like reading a Dak Prescott post on CowboysZone. We’ll all have a shitty time watching this offense in the playoff circuit and come here and get no where.
  24. Dudes not even a chain mover. Go ahead pick, 8 Yards short of the sticks. Our defense has to be the most experienced unit in the country in defending sudden redzone offenses.
  25. Just shut the thread down. The PR crew is typing up responses at an unmatched rate. Bench Blue for his turnovers, but keep trotting this dude out there. He’s averaging 4-6 turnover balls a game.
