  1. I had a feeling this might be reality after watching the Bama game. I’m ready for a ball game.
  2. I’m going to go ahead & mentally prepare myself for a potentially competitive game tonight. By that I mean I’m about to get fucked up.
  3. I think we might have received a bit too much credit for bullying the Tide. Although every other team in the top 5 looks like they can’t hold our dicks. Hopefully we make an example of the cowboys tonight.
  4. Y’all were on my ass when I questioned the quality of Bamas team & our own performance in the game thread. These boys might just suck wee wee.
  5. KSU QB is still a liability. Not sold on the Wildcats.
  6. Can you elaborate on this? I read a bunch academic articles attempting to debunk the mummies back in like 2019, but it appears none of them actually physically examined them or did their own DNA Analysis. The appearance of the mummies look remarkably human, but the X-Ray anatomy resembles reptiles and birds.
  7. Burke might be one of the best edge rushers in the country. That’s hilarious for some reason.
  8. I just finished rewatching the game sober. I got to admit, it was not as epic. We really played a C+ game. That’s exciting, lots of room for improvement.
  9. I think the Bledsoe & Collins hype train this fall was the product of our interior offensive line. Rice moved those guys pretty easily too. Ross looked like a player.
  10. Regardless of our performance Saturday, this is a tough outing for Saban. Our defense can keep us in this game if we can just stay ahead of the chains. I also believe we can alleviate some of our weaknesses with formations. Go empty some Sark. There’s no secondary in the country this WR group cant create separation against. Instead of making Quinn drop or turn his back to the defense, just let that bitch sling it some. You already know interior pressure is going to be there all game, get that ball out quick. Give the Blue the start, he’s not Bijan or Roschon, but hes compatible with non-existent rush lanes. He’s not going to block a soul in pass protection, but why would we run slow developing plays in the first place? Goodness, I’m just yapping, I’m hyped for this game.
  11. I watched many lesser talents on lesser talented teams connect on deep balls all Saturday afternoon. It’s kind of mind boggling that a D1 starting QB would consistently struggle with that type of thing. Though Sark knows his offense becomes much easier to defend without it, so he forces it regardless. If you’re starting QB needs the perfect conditions each snap to execute, it’s hard to picture an efficient offensive attack in college football. That being said, this team is tough out for Alabama. I think this team is talented enough to win in the Big12 without a super efficient offense. As a Texas fan, I think you will find much of your enjoyment this season coming from the defense body slamming opposing QBs.
  12. I think you got to start Neto at LG & maybe even slide Cole back in at RG if he can go. Hayden just doesn’t knock anyone off the ball, and he’s terrible pulling. Ewers is a mechanical nightmare, but I think some of that is him not trusting the interior enough to step up in the pocket. We can win this game if we stay ahead of the chains.
  13. Bama is a team we can beat. Though you can’t be encouraged by our ground game, especially in short down scenarios. You also got to think Quinn’s deep ball issues continue with even more pressure in his grill. It will be an interesting matchup for sure.
  14. Quinns like a old car, you got to warm him up with some easy completions & scrambles.
  15. Briles selling the game. Just run the ball.
  16. I’m curious if Dykes can win ball games without all those draft picks he inherited.
  17. The game is probably going to be short as hell. These games are flying by with the new clock rules. Texas - 45 Rice - 10
  18. I think vs Bama we go with the heavy 3 down lineman look. They’ll send Catalon crashing the box every snap until one of their QBs proves he can complete an intermediate pass.
  19. I think we see a large dose of the big three down line front vs Bama. They’ll probably send Catalon crashing the box until his shoulder falls off.
  20. Gbenda’s Cinco Ranch tape is some of the best ILB tape you’ll find at the HS level. I remember the recruiting board whining that Herman waited nearly to his senior year to offer. It’d be nice if we could get some quality production out of him this season.
  21. I almost forgot, Susan Sarandon gives one of the most hilariously bad performances I’ve ever seen. She gave minimal effort. If she even attempted to act, it would really elevate the drama of the film.
  22. I caught a screening of Blue Beetle at the Grand Lake Theater in Oakland tonight. I’m just out on the West Coast killing time. Apparently a Hurricane is making landfall In SoCal this weekend. Wtf? Anyways, the movie doesn’t reinvent the wheel in the genre. It actually utilizes a ton of tropes we’ve seen before over the last twenty years. Though the action was top-notch, the VFX/Practical combo looked great on screen, and the Xolo casting really shines. Pleasantly surprised. (6.8/10)
  23. If Catalon’s shoulders can hold up, I think we’ll be just fine on D. With all the young guys expected to play on the front 7, Catalon’s ability to clean up run and shallow passing game is super valuable. Even if he can’t go full-time, it aids in the development of the defense as a whole.
  24. We’re landing Simmons. No way we get out recruited by some broke swamp folk with no defensive line coach.
