Good to hear. Sounds like they didn't skimp on the catering. I do get sausage as my second meat when we get it delivered - gotta always have sausage. Love the potato salad. The Arbor Walk location is only a couple miles away so arrives plenty warm. Besides the dinners I also get some chopped for lunches and a package or two of different sausages - hot & garlic. Love sausage. Rudy's is close, too, and used to get it often until Southside opened. Huge tip: use Rudy's beans for nachos. That last about Q choice for the alumni? Ridiculous.
  2. Rooting around in my Photos app and rediscovered this one. Rufus, aged 8 or 9 then (rescued, shady past) 10 now, watches far too much TV. Hates that fucking emu, most dogs, all turtles and any reptile really. In real life he loves other dogs. Mr. Rufus is complicated. I digress; he HATES Wheel of Fortune with great passion. Every damn day beginning around 6:00 PM he gets agitated, grumbling, barking a bit randomly, preparing himself for 6:30. He's usually laser focused on what's being prepared for dinner but springs to action with the first sound of music. If he's too focused he sure as shit breaks when the announcer's voice comes on. I suspect he hates Pat Sajack the most, Sajack and the triple tossup graphic.

Just saw this so too late to advise. How was it? It's good enough for us for home delivery, avail ourselves every four or five weeks, and are quite satisfied. Other options are Pok-e-Jo's, Rudy's, Smokey Mo's so Southside wins out, excepting when I'm craving some fried okra and the wife grilled veggies (both Pok-e-Jo's).
  4. Other than singing in 'A Clockwork Orange' (sang 'Singing in the Rain'), What has he done musically?
  5. New drinking game - every time Smoltz says "and what I mean by that".
  6. daughter's 60+ lb mutt did same - left rear. while in pain it did subside and mutt was fine over time (4-6 weeks). best of luck!
  7. Horns crossed that the rescue comes through. Our pug rescue had one sweet thing that was as anti-social as any I've seen. These folks took her in and she is quite happy just running with other dogs. https://www.livinggracecanineranch.org
  8. Somehow 'Moose' is a perfect name for this good boy.
  9. And what if Ozuna and Harris hadn't slumped so bad? Or Max get hurt?
  10. And have passed the Rays for best record in all MLB. 8 mofos going to All-Star. Damn hard to be humble, though who's trying.
  11. Goddamn that was some good shit right there. (Ozzie>Arcia>Olson) I've been watching the Braves for well over 30 years. Can't recall so much fun.
  12. When one of our guys gets a hit (started with Acuña?) they reach down, leaving their hand there for a moment, as if saying something is just so tall/short? Any more info/ideas?
  13. What an ending effort. 3 HRs in 4 ABs.
  14. Fun first. For us. Reds having all the fun now. But, hey! Ain't over yet.
  15. Second and third dinners (as well as breakfasts and lunches!) are a well known thing. In PugWorld.
  16. I thought it better than I would have thought. But when it looked like she was going to be president I just couldn't. How did that play out? Watchable?

I'm working. Every time I raise my head a peek we're either kicking it around, usually with our backs towards the goal, or SKC is trying (sucessfully) to score. We're supposed to have a 4 man backline, right?
  18. 5 freakin' comeback wins in a row. goddamn this has been fun. even got the wife paying real attention.
  19. Time for some well deserved rest, Donnnie. Seems like you helped make a great family. Great pix, BTW.
  20. I disagree. Definitely aggravating in the extreme but the nerve, the determination ... awesome. Of course my perspective is different!
  21. I thought the dubbed to be one of, if not, the best dub jobs I've seen/heard.
  22. And what a nice surprise Arcia is.
