  1. It’s obviously not a realistic option- you didn’t put it in your stupid fucking poll.
  2. Fucking love this kid. If he ends up being half as fierce on the field as he is on Twitter, he will be a Longhorn legend.
  3. Anybody have any intel on process/timing for 2022 season tickets, specifically for someone trying to grab season tickets for the first time? All I've found is that the deadline to renew existing season tickets was on 12/10/21. I submitted the deposit for a new season ticket request a few weeks back but hadn't seen anything since. Thanks!
  4. I was about to feel really stupid for somehow not knowing they were brothers.
  5. A google search seems to confirm this. Crazy fact.
  6. Was trying to put numbers to the property tax revenue lost downtown to state owned property. I back-of-the-napkinned just the area between Trinity and Lavaca & 15th and MLK. Using some swag assumptions (wasn't going to measure out loss of land to thoroughfares / capitol view corridor, etc) but I'm getting to ~half a billion dollars of property taxes that could be collected if that was redeveloped up to allowable density (15 FAR). I don't know if I'm looking in right place or interpreting correctly, but I believe this (https://www.traviscountytx.gov/open-data-portal/property-tax-current-year) tells me the total amount of property taxes collected per year is ~$5.37B. So for scale, my math above arrives at potential tax revenues that would equate to 8.5% of what is currently being collected by the county. And that's just one 4x5 block area. Many other examples of valuable downtown land owned/used by public entities.
  7. I haven't spent much time on the $9.99 board until recently so sorry for newb question. How big are the bags Stewart and Harris are getting and how do we know that? I agree that it's not hard to infer what is happening, I just hadn't seen the "sources" that back this up other than it being repeated as fact in this thread.
  8. If so, timing seems funny. TCU had coaching change and ain't bowling, not sure why he'd be waiting to make a portal announcement. Coordinated with Texas coaches to try to aid in recruitment of someone like, oh I don't know, Evan Stewart?
  9. I forgot he was on campus for 6 years. So he didn't register a catch (due to injuries mentioned above) until his 3rd season out of high school.
  10. Your memory is probably better than mine. Looks like he registered a touch in every game his freshman year and in 9 of his sophomore. That obviously doesn't mean he wasn't banged up. I think that factors into my original question though- Going from small school high school competition where nobody can catch you to the physicality of big time college football is a tough transition, presumably for a smaller guy like Brennan.
  11. Thought of it second I clicked submit: It's a different world now but the obvious high profile Longhorn example would be Jordan Shipley. Burnet was 3A at the time but that was also before the classifications expanded. The talent on the roster his first two years at UT was better but he didn't really take off until his third year in the program (16 and 27 touches his first two seasons).
  12. Serious and likely dumb question: are there examples of small receivers who played small school competition who have gone on to ball out / ball out early on big stage? I really like the kid but it's also not reassuring to know that my ass would have been good enough (i.e. a barely athletic warm body) to play for most of the teams he's owning in his tape. Did he dominate 7 on 7 circuit against better competition?
  13. *quickly recollects posting history in PIHB*
  14. Oregon commit, Tetairoa McMillan? From Orange County but first name sounds Hawaiian… thatsalittleracist.gif
