  1. I would like to believe that, but I was also a multi-decade season ticket holder until 2018, and know that not all the fans that attend DKR are of the ilk that would know better
  2. Was doing that last November. Was actually supposed to have (3) nights in Israel, but……
  3. Expect the typical first game slow start, but rejoice if otherwise
  4. Game thread. Time for some smiles and cries….
  5. Replace the “shut that” w/ “We’ll”, print it on a flag, and carry at the front of all those SEC flags the band will be carrying into Memorial Stadium before games this season
  6. Reigning DII champ (yes, I refuse to call it D1) SOUTH DAKOTA ST @ OKIE LIGHT could make for an interesting off-the-radar game today. So could Boise State @ Georgia Southern to a slightly lesser extent.

  8. The fam wanted to mix in a Salt Lick-Dripping Springs visit before the game. I’ve intervened and planned a 10:30am departure time. They asked whether or not that might be early. I replied ‘yes’……
  9. From the mean streets of The Balcones Canyonlands……. TEXAS!!!!
  10. Fk this guy…..that is all…..
  11. Texas 41-17. Opening games have a long history of showing signs of rust and slow starts, and Colorado State isn’t the absolute pushover you’re typically facing in game 1. Will be really curious to see what life after Murphy/Sweat looks like on the defensive side of the ball. If history is my guide, we’ll emerge disappointed with at least the 1st half with questions heading into week 2 many of which will ultimately prove to be unfounded. It should be added that w/ Michigan up next, Sark may drop a vanilla game script
  12. Because of an August vacation off the grid, I’m less prepared than ever for the start of this season and am trying to catch up. I did catch the RB injury situation while away. I trust Sark with the offense completely. I’m wondering about the other side of the ball. Does everyone think we will struggle to replace the beef we had on the D-Line (Murphy/Sweat) because getting pressure with 4 due to those guys was a massive part of last season’s success?
  13. Well there’s a blast from the past, and later you can remove the “p” and an “s”. College football is back!!
  14. One of those week 0 games where people are excited at the beginning, but tuning out in the 2ndQ as just how 1-sided the matchup is becomes clearly evident.
  15. I deserved that I guess. But, hey, at least I’m on Surly before breakfast
  16. Fresh back from a multi-week August vaca, if I’m being honest, I’m far too unprepared to have an opinion about much of anything college football related so I’ll be using this thread as a number of tools to kick off that rust and get in the game. Opine away fellas
  17. If you’re into it, by all means drink it up, but for me personally, Week 0 is like a cock tease……. I’m wanting a football fix, but can’t quite have it this week given the matchups. Week 1? All in, all day
  18. Queue Stoops sucking that SEC dick gifs……
  19. Like it or not, prime time college football is played in The SEC and The Big Ten. I hate to say it, but The Aggies were right to make the move a decade ago. The Horns should’ve made the move first. For as long as I can remember as a long-time season-ticket holder, home foes at DKR have been mostly mediocre at best to downright pathetic playing in a conference where the only headlining opponent was played away from home at a neutral site. In this aspect, it will be a pleasure getting to know our new conference brethren. But with that said, f—k em’ all. Time to take this new bitch over
  20. I think I heard Monday is the day the transfer portal opens. Heard previous Texas target, Andrej Stojakovic (Peja’s son), is transferring from Stanford with Texas being mentioned as a target.
  21. Someone asked why Disu is the go to guy….its because he shouldn’t have to be,there’s jus nobody else
  22. Who cares what they “said”. In the world we live in today today what people say publicly doesn’t necessarily reflect what they’re thinking privately
  23. Yep,but I wonder if he foresaw the Dalton Knecht offensive turd as well?
