  1. Can't take seriously. Didn't even mention RapGameLarry, Sultan of Ewers Scoop. /s/
  2. Personally surprised the Golding--Lanning--Muschamp "switcheroo" isn't getting more run given, assuming for sake of the discussion that it's true, it means Boom is actually on the table and interested in taking a DC gig this year. And if we assume Boom's order of preference for programs is UGA > Bama > UT, Sark's best move would be to play a game of chicken with Boom by not taking Golding and forcing the issue solely into the Bama/UGA court. Bama isn't willing to push Golding out to make room for Lanning, or UGA isn't willing to can Lanning for Boom -- both realistic scenarios -- Boom is essentially down to UT DC, Bama/UGA analyst or assistant position, or sitting 2021 out.
  3. Dude, you're in the fucking coaching staff thread.
  4. Likes females who regularly crawl on all fours and bleat when you put them in restraints?
  5. Put me in the ring as volunteer for stand-in. As a white male bird lawyer I’ll get lost in the sea of donors on-screen /katfid Joking but serious
  6. The Pruitt thing seems like click-bait, I don’t buy it. Don’t buy the idea that he has been Sark’s plan for some time and that’s why we’ve had such uncertainty and waiting on the DC side. Planning on Pruitt pending the uncertain outcome of a serious investigation would be such a gamble, makes no sense. Do I buy the idea that Pruitt is a candidate if we haven’t found our guy yet, timing otherwise works out and the investigation and any aftermath (negotiated buyout, etc.) happen to shake out in his favor? Sure. But the current 9.95 narrative is just them coming up with shit cause they’ve exhausted DC talking points, IMO.
  7. It stacks: $200K (year 1), $400K (year 2), $600K (year 3), $800K (year 4), $1MM (year 5). So cumulative $3MM over the 5-year remaining term of the contract.
  8. This wait for assistance announcements is torture, particularly for those in the crowd following the coaching saga daily (or nearly) since the early-stage Urban buzz.
  9. My rookie suggestion would be for UT to offer Boom whatever package they would normally, plus a cherry on top that UT will pay him (in installments over a number of years) any part of the max $3MM he's going for that SCAR for whatever reason doesn't end up giving him. Basically, backstop the $3MM and kill any dollars-and-cents reasons that Boom might have for not pulling the fucking trigger.
  10. I don't remember in what exact detail the situation around Boom's contract situation has been discussed here already, but the theory that his reluctance to accept a job with UT (or any other program, for that matter) has legs IMO. In before the "lol, didn't read" responses, but summarizing for those that might be interested.
  11. On one hand, we should find a way to get Bryce on the phone with Deshaun. On the other, BOB won't have the ability to trade away Bama WRs for a stale bag of peanuts.
  12. Yes, here's his current contract. Got it through an open records request recently but kind of lost its relevance until now for obvious reason.
  13. Arnold & Itkin, reputable Houston personal injury firm (recognize that's an oxymoron), or one or their clients.
  14. Certainty wasn't a wish list. Grantham making the list was largely due to the Mullen circumstances, him having success in the past and my understanding that he's well-respected by Saban (they worked together at MSU).
  15. If we're jumping in with the 9.95'ers and just throwing shit against the wall at this point: Todd Grantham, Florida (if Mullen leaves, though last I saw rumors were shot down that the Jets were interviewing him) Jay Bateman, UNC Co-DC Antonio Pierce, ASU Co-DC Chad Staggs, Coastal Carolina
  16. Definitely had some misses, but hopefully (most) people have at least found it entertaining. What's a CFB board during the middle of a search without some FlightAware and rampant speculation mixed in-between the barbeque, beer (ice cream?) and butts. Enjoying it before the staff's buttoned up and I then fade back to irrelevance/lurker status.
  17. Nailed it. It's blocked on FlightAware, but here's a link to screencaps of it's visual flight history the last 48 hours.
  18. Definitely defer to you and @Handcruser on this sort of thing, happy to be wrong. If it was a Challenger, this is the only one that flew into the Austin area this morning. It's flight log is super fucked up, it's listed owner an investment vehicle of George D. Johnson, Jr., a lawyer/businessman/politician (former SC HOR) out of Spartanburg, SC. Bizarre.
  19. Doubtful. That's a prop plane owned and operated by an aero-medical provider.
  20. Yep, looks like the Citation X initially predicted. Model appears to match. And it was operated by XOJets - they brand the engines with their company name and you can't make it out in the video but the one Stark stepped out of is clearly branded. Edit: And the only other contender just left MIA. The one linked above was the only MIA arrival in ATX since the game, timing of posting video checks out. I'm certain we were correct.
  21. He really had his eye on a Dethhault Falcon but couldn't afford it.
  22. Was scanning flights in and out of Columbia, SC for shits and gigs and stumbled across Lou Holtz's plane. Not suggesting it's involved in our coaching search, just funny that of the many, many planes I've looked into is the first one that is directly tied to an actual "coach" and it's Lou fucking Holtz. And apparently he (or his lawyers) don't give a shit if people know it's his because they certainly don't do much to hide it like most (didn't take much digging to confirm).
  23. I'll let you know once the plane gets back in wifi range and I can get the feed from my lavatory spycam. Unless of course Jim decided not to take one of his ceremonial mid-flights dumps in celebration of taking a new coaching gig, in which case we're shit out of luck.
