  1. Won't reiterate all of the rationale already well-explained by others as to why we would have almost surely heard insider reports of a solid "no" by now. However, I'm firmly in the camp that the fact we have not heard such reports, coupled with the mountain of very weird circumstantial data (yes, including flight aware) + reports speaking to sourced-info re the possibility of Urban taking the job being put out by journalists and other outlets that extend beyond our typical 9.95'ers, means that this thing is likely happening (in a good way). Re parallels to the 2013 Saban debacle, I closely followed the equivalent thread over on surly at the time and do not recall near this scope of non-9.95er input, circumstantial evidence or base of people (reporters, fans, etc.) that took it seriously - hell, most don't believe Saban to TX was about a FUPM-tit away from going down. Not to mention the contrast the contrast in alignment and competence of UT's admin branches/donors then vs. now. Just saying, though I wouldn't say I'm injecting the kool-aid quite yet and maybe I'm gullible, but at this point I'd be pretty surprised if Urban isn't our next coach.
  2. Well if that's to be believed, this flight raises some flags. It's gone Columbus --> HOU --> DAL --> HOU this week (couple other stops as well) and has a bullshit list of upcoming flights, but one fork would take it from where it is now (HOU) to Las Vegas today and then on to Palm Springs tomorrow. Edit: The Palm Springs piece would also line up with the golfing piece of the Squid's tweet. And getting Urban back out to Palm Springs/California tomorrow would be logical given the Fox show on Saturday.
  3. Was about to post the KOSU --> HSB flight that the tOSU boards were talking about, particularly to mention that that would line up with at least a couple things: post by the IT user that was screencapped here a few pages back and claimed that Urban and Shelley were both in Columbus this morning but would be leaving to somewhere today; and the Squid's tweet with the emoji timeline that I now read to be showing the the Horseshoe/tOSU (magnet emoji) --> one flight taking off and touching down (three plane emojis) --> to final destination of HSB (magnet emoji + waves emoji).
  4. Interesting update (at least I think it's new) - the plane that is crossing paths in ATL with the Kendra Scott plane tomorrow morning is now showing its next stop as Columbus.
  5. Do you want to be crowdsourced? Because that's how you get crowdsourced.
  6. HSB is owned by Terramesa Holdings, LLC, which is managed by MacFarlan Capital Partners out of Dallas, whose CEO and MP is a UT alumnus.
  7. In the midst of all of this excitement, I'd be curious to hear whether @futureman is standing strong with his long-held position. In before lubing up jokes.
  8. HSB has private home rentals, y'all. Bunch of Surly 99%'ers round here.
  9. Just wanted to say this is amazing and I simultaneously love and hate all of you.
  10. Re the NetJets-operated Cessna Citation Excel/XLS, it's difficult to gain much traction because there are a lot of them, 50+ alone with TX-registered owners. On the other hand, thought this was interesting. One of the those TX-based XLS owners is the UT Board of Regents (Tail No. N139XL). Funny enough, the tail number is not blocked. However, I suppose it's possible that an "unblocked" plane's details won't show up on FlightAware when it's being flown around by a third-party operator such as NetJets? If that's the case, it gets more interesting because FlightAware shows the BOR's XLS last recorded ride touched down at 8:58 a.m. CST on November 17th. When does the NetJets XLS record history start? At 8:17 a.m. CST on November 17th in Boston, MA. So, thought for a second I might have stumbled across a big connection given that same-day coincidence, but obviously the timing of the handoff means the NetJets plane isn't the BOR's unless it has a flux capacitor or there's a way someone could have done some fuckery with FlightAware to obfuscate the handoff - all ears if any Surly experts know of a way that'd be possible.
  11. Right, but who knows when the last time was that this plane filled up, what Jet Linx's practices are as far as where to fuel (as mentioned, plausible if not likely they prioritize refuel/maintenance at their designated bases when convenient) and whether it'll be making a cross-country jump post-FL.
  12. Rationale has been discussed at length for stops in ATX, LA, Cincy and FL, but this is the narrative I have subscribed to as far as the logic behind the stops in Pittsburgh and Atlanta. Weakest basis is Pittsburgh - best guesses there are that (i) Urban was trying to line up (as Option A or B) the Pitt Recruiting Director that was his recruiting assistant at tOSU or (ii) Mickey Marotti was there for some reason - perhaps due to tOSU's upcoming game at MSU being up in the air this week until recently -- Marotti is from Ambridge, PA about ~20 miles outside of Pittsburgh and I think he still has parents/family there. As far as ATL, my bet is refueling/routine maintenance pitstop. As mentioned earlier today, that's one of Jet Linx's primary U.S. bases/FBOs. Based on this website about the base and some minor digging, seems like a cornerstone of Jet Linx's business is having negotiated lower jet fuel prices at its FBOs - I read that to mean that in practice Jet Linx might only refuel at bases like that one, or at the very least make the stop at a base to refuel and do regular/mandatory maintenance with their dedicated team there if it's on the flight path and logical. In any event, Peachtree is almost dead center on the flight path between Cincy and Tampa. Alternative reason might be simply to meet up with new passengers joining, such as those on this flight that has been mentioned in this thread - it gets into Peachtree tomorrow at 9:48 a.m., just 20 minutes after the "Kendra Scott" flight with Sarasota final destination.
  13. Wow, out of rep...but hot damn. This day has really turned around since the early morning bummer. Almost makes the collective efforts this week tracking and digging into this fucking plane all week (and consequent job losses) worth it...almost.
  14. Squid emoji = Urban. Magnet = direct contact with UT in some fashion or progression in negotiation/hiring process. Waves = Tampa. Golfer = Celebratory leisure activity. Skyline = LA. Hook 'Em = KSU game and/or announcement of Urban as HC. Herman loses to ISU --> bonafide contact with Urban is made re HC position --> series of plane flights with Urban and/or members of his immediate family and/or BMDs as passengers (ATX --> LA --> ATX --> COL (Shelley joins the gang) --> CINCY (Son joins the gang)) --> at some point during the span of days in which the flights were going on, Urban and UT come to agreement --> Urban, Shelley, Son and some UT big wigs arriving in Tampa and enjoying some celebratory golf/leisure activities --> Urban goes back to LA for his show Saturday, while Shelley and Son head off to their weekend in the FL Keys --> ending of KSU game sparks the transition announcements that Urban is in. Source: I speak squid.
  15. FWIW, beyond one small airport (Athens-Ben Epps Airport), the Dekalb-Peachtree is the closest airport to UGA.
  16. Behind in the thread, but sweetmotherofgod.gif.
  17. The plane that went Tyler --> COL --> ATX with timing that lines up with Burton's report now has a bunch of competing flights stacked up in its upcoming log (i.e., impossible that all/most of them happen), but one of the forks would take it from ATX --> Llano --> Dallas --> Raleigh/Durham by day's end. Eltife and crew going to kick the tires on Plan Z in Chapel Hill?
  18. Thanks, hope you're right! The things I remain convinced of are that the plane in question has ties to JW, outside counsel to the UT system, and KS, a UT professor and donor, and at the least is doing some very coincidental and wonky shit given the circumstances (and their recent flight booking tactics + blocking the tail number, etc. suggests they don't want people to be following it).
  19. Waking up this morning to the last few pages really taken the wind out of my sails, especially the ATL leg penciled in for the plane. Welp.
  20. This thread is now being discussed on the 247 boards. They're not nearly as witty or complementary as the Reddit bunch.
  21. One of them said I should "get an award or something" for my dumbass investigation. I'll allow it.
  22. Damn, good catch. Like license plates, you can reserve special registration numbers for aircraft. Wouldn't be the craziest part of this adventure.
  23. Oh man, really have to get some work done tonight so a deep dive will have to wait until morning unless someone else wants to handle that fun exercise in the meantime.
  24. Per Lexis, Tuggle was the registered agent for a couple weeks post-formation in 2017. It was then switched to one of the major national firms that handles that role, Capitol Services. Whichever Google-pulled site showing Tuggle as agent must just be outdated, she's only a manager currently.
