Quinn "La Joya" Ewers - The Man The Myth The Mullet
dittohead replied to Coach pop a bitch's topic in Football
If Sark/Quinn/team know and/or feel he’s “one bad series” from getting pulled, than do it now. Will it happen, my guess is yes. Unfortunately, it will be after a bad quarter vs this morning. -
I am afraid there might be more to this story. Evidently, he was in the hospital late Saturday night/into Sunday, hence the odd booking time and timing of the arrest. More to come, but that is what the birds are chirping.

What new UT gear are you looking to buy this year?
dittohead replied to GhostOfTomJoad's topic in Football
Here are Bijan's shoes he designed for Nike. Dropped today.. https://www.nike.com/u/custom-nike-air-max-97-shoes-by-you-10001767/2671340441?cid=4942550&cp=usns_aff_nike_content_PID_100314412_SOLELINKS+MARKETING+INC&cjevent=7c1e1be5c3b411ee821e34d80a1cb829 -
That's the one. Tommy Nobis sent back some Falcon stuff, and Coach Royal sent old game programs that he also signed. Hardest to get out of all of them.. TJ Ford. Which is funny now, because he sits across from me at basketball games now.

This used to be "cool" to say, but now, not so much. I have every cover that Texas been on (all sports, special editions, good and bad covers, just a player shot, etc), signed by the person on the cover, or the coach of that sport at that time. I have them packed away, but at last check it was roughly at 39 of them. The first cover Texas was on (can't remember the name), a football player and cheerleader were walking out of the Cotton Bowl (1959 I think). I sent that to him to sign, and when I got it back, two signatures were on it.. they got married. Cool collection...

The people next to me are trying to get to Manchester. They said they are going on 14 hours of delay so far today, so they got that going for them.

It’s the AA flight. They offered a small window for people to get off about 1.5 hours ago. Maybe 5 people left. Finally our turn to de ice here. So, this 40 minute flight will end up being 4 hours in the tube.

I’m pretty sure the entire plane has done that 2 or 3 times at this point.

So, my 9:00 flight from Dallas to Austin that boarded at 9:30. .. we are still sitting on the tarmac … in Dallas.

Just got this about a minute ago... Thank you for your loyalty and support of Texas Athletics. Your passion is unmatched and has directly helped elevate our football program to its first College Football Playoff Semifinal appearance. The future has never looked brighter for our Longhorns, and you have been with us along the way all season long. We received your request for tickets to the College Football Playoff National Championship Game on January 8 in Houston. The demand for tickets from our donors and season ticket holders was the most in Texas Athletics history with over 33,000 ticket requests, and that doesn’t even include the demand from our nearly 20,000 UT students with the Big Ticket. Congratulations!!! We are excited to inform you that should Texas advance to the National Championship Game, we will be able to fulfill your request based on your ticket request and priority limits. We will notify you of your seat location and price by January 4 when we charge your card on file. Ticket prices for the National Championship Game will range from $650-$1,700 and all seats will be filled as best available in loyalty rank order. Mobile tickets for the College Football Playoff National Championship Game will be sent via e-mail by January 5. We greatly appreciate you for supporting Texas Athletics, and we hope you have a wonderful New Year!

Just got this: Thank you for your loyalty and support of Texas Athletics. Your passion is unmatched and has directly helped elevate our football program to its first College Football Playoff Semifinal appearance. The future has never looked brighter for our Longhorns, and you have been with us along the way all season long. We received your request for tickets to the College Football Playoff Semifinal at the Allstate Sugar Bowl on January 1, in New Orleans. The demand for tickets from our donors and season ticket holders was the most in Longhorn Foundation history, and that doesn’t even include the demand from our nearly 20,000 UT students with the Big Ticket. Congratulations!!! We are excited to inform you that we will be able to fulfill your request based on your ticket request and priority limits. We will notify you of your seat location and price by December 15 when we charge your card on file. You will receive your mobile tickets to the Allstate Sugar Bowl via e-mail the week of December 18. If we are fortunate enough to advance to the College Football Playoff National Championship Game, we are excited that we will be able to fulfill even more Longhorn Foundation members’ requests as we would receive approximately 20,000 tickets for that game, compared to only 13,000 for this CFP Semifinal game. If you requested tickets through Texas Athletics, we still have it on file and will notify you by December 22 whether we are able to fulfill your request should the Longhorns advance to that game.

Just got back from there last week. 1. Hot and humid.. 2. Someone mentioned "clean" New Orleans.. spot on 3. The city does seem to shut down around 10-11 4. Harbor nigh tour was cool Food options were great all the way around (Rodney Scott's was above average) and a ton of places to choose from. If you are waling around the City a lot, wait until the Summer heat chills some..
