  1. None. Just had the 2 minute warning
  2. The fuck you talking about Dinesh? Oh, got it. So the "major announcement" that he told us he'd deliver at 11:00 today, wasn't actually the video he posted today at 11:00 under the header "major announcement." Instead, the true announcement was the sneaky launch of his BBFSOREISP initiative. I have to admit, it has a nice ring to it.
  3. This is actually pretty in line with the rest of his grift. I think the big difference in this case is the teaser he gave yesterday. He and the MAGA machine have spent the past few years convincing these people that their way of life is in serious and imminent peril- like real deal fall of humanity stuff. So, he teases an announcement and they think that he's going to do something serious and imminent to address the issues he has them so scared about.
  4. Who here is on Truth Social? I need some screen shots of reactions from his true believers.
  5. It looks like they photoshopped his head on a picture of Obama!
  6. It's worth a trip to the website. https://collecttrumpcards.com/ He's essentially tied the "cards" into a raffle for things like individual/group zoom calls, dinner with 45 in Miami, and a cocktail party at Mar A Lago. Of course he's not going to do any of those things, but that's what he's doing.
  7. Well, to be fair. He's been in the NFT scam game for a while through his wife.
  8. "The corrupt, disloyal, and unthankful Republican party doesn't deserve me. I'm running as an independent!" I can dream, anyway.
  9. The Boo storm occurred on his home turf in San Francisco by a crowd who, as evidenced by their very presence there, isn't overly sensitive to trans criticism. His subsequent tweet makes it pretty clear that his combination of a need for admiration and total lack of self awareness is causing him to spiral in real time.
  10. More context for those not following closely: https://www.tmz.com/2022/12/09/world-cup-soccer-reporter-grant-wahl-dead-48-after-detainment-lgbtq-shirt/
  11. One of them is autistic and immediately released. Maybe he's 11.
  12. 11 who entered Fridley city sewer system charged with trespassing https://www.startribune.com/fridley-police-arrest-11-for-trespassing-in-city-sewer-system/600233468/
  13. Is it not possible that we're effectively getting Griner back simply by converting the Merchant's 25 year American sentence to a Russian death sentence?
  14. Here are mine as a child, teen, and college student (the Datsun was gray though).
  15. I made it 10 minutes in. Horrible. It feels like it should have been on the CW, between Smallville and One Tree Hill. Acting is atrocious. The script is on the level of a self produced high school play. The incontinuity between accents is extremely distracting as well. I ended up just rewatching the movie.
  16. It's a few years old, but this suggests he'll do at least some time for it. https://www.ussc.gov/sites/default/files/pdf/research-and-publications/quick-facts/Child_Pornography_FY19.pdf
  17. A lot of schools around here take a hit in those rankings because of the disparity between the haves and have-nots. Public schools in Minneapolis and St Paul proper are hit or miss (mostly miss), but there are some very good districts in the metro. Mostly the west metro (Wayzata, Minnetonka, Eden Prairie, Orono). Other good ones include Edina, Mounds View (mine, though I send my kids private), and Mahtomedi. Like I said, we've opted (for reasons beyond just academic) for private school, and there are a lot of good options there.
  18. I moved from TX to Minneapolis in my early 30's and never looked back, but it's definitely not for everyone. Winters can suck for sure, but tbh the weather has been a net gain over Austin for me. You get 4 legit seasons, and the summers are absolutely amazing. You haven't said enough about your likes and dislikes for any of us to really know, but in general the people who tend to like the Twin Cities are outdoors nuts. There are parks, bike paths, and lakes everywhere and- for the hearty among us- plenty of ways to enjoy winter activities (ice fishing, fat biking, nordic skiing, snowshoeing). The sports scene is good (variety if not quality) and the food and beer scene is great. For living, single 30 somethings typically get drawn to the North Loop and Mill District areas, which have absolutely exploded with apartments and condos over the past 10 years.
