  1. For those wondering, the RNC "Death Valley" speakers included Marjorie Taylor Greene, Sen. Tim Scott, Glenn Youngkin, Kristi Noem, and Sean O’Brien (among others).
  2. He's going against Klubuchar for her Senate seat. Sacrificial lamb for the slaughter.
  3. Meh. He's a weird shitty human. I don't need to spend any time speculating as to how he became one.
  4. Since we're on the topic of the war room, https://www.desmoinesregister.com/story/news/2024/03/12/why-is-tyson-foods-closing-its-perry-iowa-pork-plant-what-we-know/72934600007/ So it's old as hell and can only run one shift a day. Then there's this.... Ah, so now you care about immigrants and refugees, or do you just want them to stay in their jobs so that you can know exactly where they are when it's time to deport them?
  5. It is a real tweet, from them 4 hours ago. It used to be linked to his "Rapid Response Team" according to some stories from a few years ago. I think it's still used as the attack dog, though the official Campaign Twitter account is called Team Trump.
  6. Yep. I should say, in fairness to James Moylan, that he's going back and forth from Guam- so similar situation as Sablan.
  7. Here's the story that graphic comes from: https://www.opensecrets.org/news/2024/08/house-republicans-congressional-offices-spent-millions-more-on-taxpayer-funded-travel-than-democrats-since-2023/
  8. No shit. Dude is commuting back and forth from the Mariana Islands- I say he gets a pass. I just did a quick search for a random round trip flight in October from DC to Saipan and it comes out to $4550 for regular (refundable) economy.
  9. It definitely has an effect, I noticed the pitch of his voice was higher. I don't know if that goes for the lisp too though. And even if that is the explanation, the fact remains that he sounded different from what we are accustomed too. But here's video of him in the room. Judge for yourself. I hear "tho many millions of people"
  10. It's complicated. https://ballotpedia.org/State_laws_and_party_rules_on_replacing_a_presidential_nominee,_2024
  11. You must have been a special kind of high. Congrats!
  12. The content of what he was saying is consistent, but no, he doesn't sound like that usually. Whether it was the microphone, loose dentures, or whatever, he had a heavy, heavy lisp last night.
  13. Figured I'd pop on over for a Texags sampling:
  14. Elon is actually trying to have a (pseudo) philosophical discussion about topics and Trump is ignoring him and playing the hits.
  15. Why does he sound like Sylvester the Cat on helium?
  16. Holy shit, Trump is so popular he's crashing the servers!
  17. We have a thread for that, jackass!
  18. Utah did it too, along with more than half the other states in the Union.
