  1. Loved the scene where Nacho and Gus torched the restaurant. Gus so meticulously removing his beloved (and spotless!) fryer baskets before setting up the frozen chicken Evel Knievel deep fryer of DOOM jump perfectly captured what a fucking psycho he is.
  2. Well, uh I guess I, deep down, am feeling a little confused. I mean, suddenly, you’re in a pandemic, and you're supposed to be this entirely different guy. I don't feel different. I mean, take yesterday for example. We were eating takeout from the Olive Garden for dinner, which was lovely. And, uh, I happen to look over at a certain point during the meal and see a post from Penelope talking about the lack of laundries in Manhattan, and I found myself wondering what color her underpants might be. Her panties. Uh, odds are they are probably basic white, cotton, underpants. But I sort of think, well, maybe they're silk panties, maybe it's a thong. Maybe it's something really cool that I don't even know about. You know, and uh, and I started feeling... what? What, I thought we were in the trust tree in the nest, were we not?
  3. I received this from the Texas Construction Association yesterday: https://t.congressweb.com/w/?PKKQAISMPN

    Tiger King

Every time this dude made an appearance I kept thinking he looked like a downsier version of Alex Jones.
  5. No way. He didn't use any protection when he pleasured himself on the ball washer either.
  6. You down with invoke P? Yeah, you know me.
  7. My grandmother was 4 when the Spanish flu outbreak occurred in 1918. She’s 105 now and still going strong, although in an assisted living facility.
  8. Why/how is CA state court a proper venue for Bolsinger’s case?
  9. C'mon Phil - I'm confident you can outrun stadium security.
  10. No, according to my ticket rep they aren't finished yet. I guess maybe they either took their foot off the gas when the season was officially delayed, or they have run into material or labor issues. I was there for the Texas-LSU game, and it looked like they still had quite a ways to go.
  11. Y'all laugh, but I asked my season ticket rep yesterday if we could get live feeds set up to watch the ongoing renovations in LF and RF. I'd watch anything happening at MMP at this point.
  12. There are thousands of Boudreauxs all over Louisiana right now looking at the aerators in their live wells and saying - “dammit Thibodeaux, we coulda been gazillionaires.” Hope that shit works too.
  13. Spaulding - can you post the memo (or a link) to the City of Austin memo you referenced regarding construction? In a somewhat similar situation in Houston - we have a small structural steel fab shop, and although the "Work-Home-Stay-Safe" order that was issued by Lina Hidalgo specifically defines commercial (and even residential) construction as an essential business, her definition seems broader than what's found in the CISA guidelines. Could easily see her following Austin's lead and issuing a memo directing most construction to shut down. We make a lot of wastewater treatment components, so that may allow us to continue operations, even if on a limited basis. Has anyone parsed through the language of the Families First Coronavirus Response Act that passed on 3/20/20, and how it will impact your paid leave policies? My understanding is that it amends the FMLA to require: 1) up to 12 weeks of unpaid and paid leave for certain employees unable to work in order to care for a child, and 2) up to 80 hours of emergency paid sick leave related to certain specified coronavirus events. Moreover, it looks like these provisions may apply to all employers with less than 500 employees, even though the FMLA itself under normal circumstances doesn't apply to employers with less than 50 employees. It now seems like employers with less than 50 employees can seek an exemption from the Sec of Labor, but the process for that is murky. We have fewer than 50 employees, and are going to implement a policy to continue paying them in the event we get shut down (or if they or a family member get sick), but there are procedural concerns regarding how to do that without running afoul of the new legislation. And that's not even taking into account the language of any provisions that might be included in what passed last night.
  14. Paying anything to roll the dice, just one more tiiiiiime. Kim just can’t quit chasing the rush that she gets from Jimmy’s unethical adventures, even though she realizes that it’s eventually going to be her undoing. Which for a girl who was so risk-averse that she once walked three miles home from school all alone on a cold midwestern night with a cello strapped to her back, rather than accepting a ride from an impaired driver, is a bit odd.
  15. Enjoyed the episode, and although it was a little slow, thought Simon did a great job setting the stage. The theater manager, Michael Kostroff, was Maurice Levy in The Wire. Great character who stole a lot of scenes imo, so looking forward to seeing his role expanded in this.
  16. Figured this thread would be picking up steam. Where are y’all?
  17. Guess who loves easy cheese on their burger and turned 3 today. Bluto
