Mariko is pretty enough to be believable without being overly gorgeous.

I was wondering why I know the actor who plays Toranaga. He was in the Last Samurai with Tom Cruise. He played the top captain who grew to respect Tom Cruise as Cruise became a better samurai.
Quotehe was also in LOST
so was Rodrigues

We finally sat down to watch this last night. We wanted it to be a night where we could start it relatively early (8pm) so if we wanted to break it up we could. We took a small break right after Jesse Plemons showed up and then restarted. I really enjoyed it. Lily Gladstone should win Best Actress. She was fantastic. I thought DeNiro was great. It reminded me a bit of his Angel Heart character. Wife mentioned Leo seemed to be channeling some from his character in What's Eating Gilbert Grape. The brutality was tough to take and I mentioned to the wife that I was ready for Jesse Plemons character to show up just to get the wheels of justice to start turning. Lots of great cameos. I didn't have any issues with the epilogue. I thought it was a good way to wrap up what happened. We had to go back and look at a few scenes as I knew Henry Grabber looked familiar (Sturgill Simpson). Then I saw Jack White in the credits as one of the radio show actors so we went back and watched it again. I think in any other year this one wins Best Picture but Oppenheimer is inevitable this year.
did you miss Isbell too?

Those of you complaining about The Ticket — have you checked out the Freak lately? Flipped it over on the way home from the office this evening. Julie Dobbs apparently had full control of a segment where they were talking to some divorcee that they were maybe setting up on a date with some guy coming on next. Woof.

just listened to the e-brake on the app... I didn't listen live this morning but I'm curious if the shot at cruz in aledo made it on the air, because it's not edited on the top 10.
for anyone that didn't hear it one of the callers said "cruz in aledo, you know he's queer" and gordo and craig both acted unamused and said "dump that, dump that" and moved on quickly. did that go undumped this morning?
It was dumped

There's "bad" like no musical talent at all (Shaggs), and "bad" like really talented people creating commerce that tries to pass itself off as art (pandering).

I tuned in for the first time in months while he, George and Sean were trying to make a segment out of their cab ride to the strip driven by a cabbie from South America named JFK. They even had a recording of the conversation to play. It was horrible radio by three guys trying very hard to be funny. I see no reason to tune back in unless Gordo is present.
Did they ask the driver where they could find some pussy around here?
If BaD Radio isn't on from 3-7 p.m. ...
