  1. i'm not at all surprised you like that song. it's terrible.
  2. the long and winding road on let it be. can't skip that one fast enough.
  3. i don't care too much for either of their albums but i think they're pretty great live.
  4. i enjoyed it but thought the crowd was pretty terrible. couldn't get away from people talking.
  5. firmly in this camp, abw is highly overrated. what beers did you have that were good?
  6. yeah, me too. get there early enough to check out think no think.
  7. around christmas is one of the busiest times of the year at big bend. you should still be able to find a camping spot as long as you're ok with backcountry.
  8. What do you want to know? Go. Have tamales. Drink tequila.
  9. saw a bunch of great stuff at levitation festival this past weekend. a place to bury strangers, frankie and the witch fingers, and monolord were my personal favorites. somehow 3 straight nights of staying out until 2am didn't kill me.
  10. as great of a guy as he seems to be...it's not that hard to replace a drummer.
  11. there's a black crowes billboard on e 7th street.
  12. opener typically starts an hour after doors. emo's usually sends out an email to ticket holders with set times.
  13. the lead singer is kind of a big deal to most fans, whether or not that lead singer is an asshole is largely irrelevant.

interesting, takes a little of that 80's edge off.
  15. god damn tweedy has gotten fat as fuck.
  16. DIIV at Mohawk. I really like their new album...which is good because they played the entire thing. Had a great shoegaze grunge thing going on.
  17. will be interested to see who rounds out the band. not opposed to seeing them.
  18. i ain't hidin is definitely a disco song, and i like it.
  19. yeah, if you stand in the back at stubbs you should know what to expect. have to be in front of the sound booth with the people who are there for the music. have had very few bad experiences up there.
  20. why don't y'all just go ahead and give the highlights for those of us who are never gonna listen to a joe fucking rogan podcast.

    Pink Floyd

    i like that a lot.
  22. pharmakon at hotel vegas. this woman makes dark weird industrial music and is very aggressive and confrontational with the audience...walking around and screaming in people's faces and rolling around on the floor. it was almost more like performance art than a concert. one of those things i went to more for the spectacle than the music.
  23. honestly those all sound like reasonable decisions. ultimately i find it hard to believe it would have changed their career in any meaningful way had they done it differently.
