  1. also, all 3 of our losses are on the road. we stomped a top 10 team at a neutral site but we can't beat BYU, Utah, Miami
  2. the NY6 are the playoff games now 4 QF and 2 SF. they rotate. the best of the rest are probably Citrus, Alamo, Holiday, Gator, Sun(because of its history mainly)
  3. we'd be top 10 if we had 2 losses and our SOS was in the 30's.
  4. this. anyone who thinks we aren't going to expect playoffs every year is living in a dream world.
  5. portal RB's and WR's should be easy. we need more speed/quickness at both positions. I don't know why Sark is so enamored with big receivers. this isn't the NFL. in college, guys are open by yards all the time due to scheme and busted coverages. they can house those if they are fast/quick.
  6. that was the last straw? we were getting the ball back after half. get the points and then go score a TD, which we did and slammed the door.
  7. schedule is relevant as it relates to playoffs, or so the committee tells us. but your point on our coach is correct. you can't lose 3 games and expect to be in and that is on the coach.
  8. yep. SOS is about as important as maybe top 25 wins. Tech is a perfect example as is Indiana. All you need to do is notch one good top 10-20 win and your SOS doesn't matter. as long as you are in the 30's to 40's no one cares what your SOS is. if aggy had lost to ND, they'd still be #6 or higher because "you can only play the teams on your schedule". the SOS, SOR, top 25 wins, home/away wins, etc is just to do tiebreakers for teams with the same number of losses. last week the SEC and Big Ten teams were ranked in order of losses except for Texas Michigan which was at the very bottom and didn't really matter so it made them look like they were "thinking". here is a funny thing, on sagarin aggy dropped their SOS from 14 to 19 playing something called Samford. our SOS dropped from 9 to 14 for playing Arkansas.
  9. this is what happens when you put your franchise in the hands of one of the dumbest motherfuckers on the planet. meanwhile Luka getting all the calls he wouldn't be getting in Dallas because the refs hate Cuban. as predicted Luka gonna be 30/9/9 for his career with the Lakers. he can shoot 35% from 3 and still get 30 a night because he will be shooting 10+ FT's.
  10. It's the 3rd loss that has put us in the position regardless of who it was to. the loss column rules all. if our 3 losses were to OSU, Vandy, UGA we'd be in the same position.
  11. we'd be at 8 at 9-2 with no tosu and pick a random mid level P4.
  12. this. look at Mateers stats. objectively Arch is just as good or better than Mateer.
  13. my guess is what is going to happen is if you can limit to 2 losses you have a very good chance if you are an SEC team. realistically you are playing for 10 spots, and given the unbalanced schedules with superconferences, anymore than 2 you are basically out.
  14. Cincy is done.
  15. Kirby Smart calls on onside kick that works and everyone loses their minds.
  16. welcome to the internet?
  17. The Akina hire is a huge ding on Sark. that tells me you aren't prepared for coaches to leave and are just winging it. Just like CDC has to have a list of coaches at the ready in case one leaves or has to be fired, Sark is the one who has to have a list ready for his assistant coaches at a minimum.
  18. Florida being ass the rest of the way didn't help. if we piss pound aggy(unlikely with Akina's DB's) then we could offset the FLA loss. but you are correct for SEC teams. you can play Minn/Mich State/Cal/Virgina Tech/Boston College. until they really consider SOS as a bigger factor it just makes no sense to give yourself a chance for a loss.
  19. ha. Penn State destroying their new coach. that has to be....awkward
  20. this. if we both have 2 losses with ours being Fla and Geo on the road we are ahead of OU right now guaranteed.
