  1. maybe it is. I haven't seen it. if you can point to it that would help. I thought I saw a graphic saying our SOR would be 11 but have no context on how it is calculated.
  2. those 2 loss teams are not SEC or Big Ten. Big Ten and SEC are ranked in order of losses. which is also why OU is #8. they sprinkle in Big 12 and/or ACC where necessary.
  3. the important lesson(which should have been learned years ago) is that SOS means shit. you can have a SOS in the 50's(or 70's)and get in. I do think the committee will use this unknown SOR to put us 11 or 12 and thus out. "sorry so close Texas, that Florida loss, hmm just too bad". they came up with SOR for just this reason. no one knows how it is calculated so they can game the number and point to it.
  4. this is how you know the loss column means everything. we only move 2 spots up after beating up the #3 team handily but when we beat Vandy we moved up 10 spots.
  5. I will respond for the masses 1) dont lose to Florida 2) PUSSY!
  6. Duke has no chance of winning that game. Virgina is much better than Duke first of all and second, the ACC will make sure of it.
  7. OU looked like trash in several wins as well, even one yesterday, we beat them soundly. the only issue for us is 3 losses.
  8. that is funny. ND wouldn't make the NCAA basketball tournament with that resume. the committee is going to make a statement one way or another next week.
  9. haha. loss column for SEC and Big Ten.
  10. yeah, I keep seeing 3. it is 2. that said who else has beaten 2 of the playoff teams?
  11. and that we made them look shitty in our H2H(17 point drubbing) with their heisman finalist QB. It is hilarious that H2H means so little that it can't overcome one loss and the fact that we are abov them in the SEC final ranking.
  12. I think what we made fun of was only 8 conf games and the 4th OOC game being Samford.
  13. hmmm, where I have seen/heard this before. can't quite put my finger on it.
  14. my thing on Miami v us is they couldn't even get in the champ game in the absolute worst, by far, P4 conference. they have one feather in their cap, ND.
  15. i don't gamble but the only way I'd probably bet is if one starting QB is out and the opposing starting QB is playing.
  16. sure I will like a win more than a loss mainly for historical stuff - all time wins, bowl wins all time, and record v a particular team like Michigan but other than that whatever.
  17. we won't be. since we torched the greatest aggy team of all time, they will actually start looking at their schedule, the ref fucking v ND and magic....aggy just wasn't that good. we have a 3 in the loss column, none of the rest of this matters.
  18. we can call it FIRST FOUR and play it in Detroit!
  19. eh, the cool factor on bowl games is pretty much gone regardless of outcome.
  20. The first four out is funny. like this is the NCAA tourney with 64 teams and a bunch of games left to be played.
  21. yes, no one cares and with so many players sitting out now it doesn't really tell you much.
  22. Yep. Michigan. Gonna be so awesome we get to play a hard OOC Bowl Game! Helmet school blue blood. Gonna be great! Will be so meaningful and we will show we aren't pussies.
  23. sheesh, you are acting like there is only a choice of ND/OSU/Miami or Texas school for the deaf. there is a wide chasm between those, like say Louisville or ASU/Arizona or Colorado(for all the Deion lovers) or Michigan State.
  24. tOSU's SOS is like 40. they have a 1, maybe a 2 game season. but it would be funny, although unlikely.
  25. so how would you do it? Every other NCAA sport does it that way.
