2025 Citrus Bowl - Texas vs. Michigan - 2:00pm on ABC
the whole safety thing has given the officials way too many "eye of the beholder" penalties to consider. it has IMO ruined the flow of a game. I get foreceable contact to the head with crown(also known as spearing for years) and can see using forearms/shoulders to the head as being illegal but all this other stuff is bullshit. illegal blindside block? - maybe put your head on a swivel , defenseless receiver? - maybe don't throw high over the middle, QB hit in the pocket(not late) and driven to the ground? - maybe run the ball more or bring in more protection. I'm sure there are others I'm not thinking of. the block on Kanu on the QB yesterdashould not be a penalty, for example. if the play is live you can get blocked. get the refs back focused on calling the penalties that affect the game correctly. I realize we have jumped the shark and aren't going back but it would be so much better if we could get the refs back focused on calling the penalties that affect the game correctly.

It is absolutely Bias. we are constantly called for holding and the other teams are almost never called. this has been going on for years. the review situations show it as well. there are many times when we don't even get a review on a a questionable play. that is nothing but Bias. you have to counteract it by bitching like Smart oes Stoops used to do constantly. you are doing your team a disservice if you don't. It is like we think refs aren't human and can't be influenced. they can and we should be on them constantly.

It's horrifically bad and the bias shows constantly. This game should have been 52 to 20 with A) fair/competent refereeing and B) if Niblet doesn't fumble. Maybe Sark is seeing the light. I saw him arguing more than in the past. you have to be on these incompetent fucks(read insurance salesmen) from the first whistle to the gun or you will get run over by their bias and stupidity. If Sark thinks ANY ref crew is going to give Texas a fair shake he is stupid and deserves to get fucked.
