  1. Local farmer calls it like he sees it "The world markets, which the president is now tearing down in the name of fairness, were built and paid for by farmers to ensure agriculture had outlets for our production so we didn’t have to come to the American taxpayer for support. We keep hearing about the “Art of the Deal.” I’m waiting for the “Art” portion. Using a club to bludgeon our trading partners and allies is not negotiating. It’s nothing more than a playground bully stomping around to see who will flinch." https://www.sidneydailynews.com/opinion/columns/112560/local-farmer-calls-it-like-he-sees-it His buddies down at the local "feed and seed" aren't gonna take too kindly to that article....

"Home Depot fires 60-year-old black man after Trump supporter screams racist abuse at him" The Times-Union reports that Maurice Rucker, 60-year-old black man, was let go from a job he’s held for 10 years—making $13 an hour—because he politely asked a customer to leash his dog in the store." Of course the CEO of Home Depot is a big Trump supporter https://www.rawstory.com/2018/07/home-depot-fires-60-year-old-black-man-trump-supporter-screams-racist-abuse/

  9. You reap what you sow.... In South Dakota, patience wears thin as tariffs hit home https://www.argusleader.com/story/news/politics/2018/07/13/south-dakota-trump-tariffs-hit-home/780376002/ South Dakota farmers and ranchers this week weathered the first round of tariffs and talk of an imminent trade war. It's a hit they'd hoped to avoid for months and one they've been paying for for weeks as uncertainty loomed large over the market, dragging down the price of key crops. The tariff talks have already cost South Dakota farmers and ranchers hundreds of millions of dollars, experts said, as the value of their crops has dipped amid international concern about new tariffs. It's a loss that many can't sustain and one that elected officials and others worried could tank the state's economy.

  11. Just a coincidence I'm sure White House Eliminates Cybersecurity Coordinator Role From May 2018... The White House eliminated the position of cybersecurity coordinator on the National Security Council on Tuesday, doing away with a post central to developing policy to defend against increasingly sophisticated digital attacks and the use of offensive cyber weapons. A memorandum circulated by an aide to the new national security adviser, John R. Bolton, said the post was no longer considered necessary because lower-level officials had already made cybersecurity issues a “core function” of the president’s national security team. https://www.nytimes.com/2018/05/15/technology/white-house-cybersecurity.html US intelligence chief: 'The warning lights are blinking red again' on cyberattacks Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats raised the alarm on growing cyberattack threats against the United States, saying the situation is at a "critical point" and coming out forcefully against Russia. "The warning signs are there. The system is blinking. It is why I believe we are at a critical point," Coats said, addressing the Hudson Institute in Washington, DC, on Friday. "Today, the digital infrastructure that serves this country is literally under attack," he said. Coats compared the "warning signs" to those the United States faced ahead of the September 11 terrorist attacks. https://www.cnn.com/2018/07/14/politics/director-of-national-intelligence-dan-coats-cyberattacks-russia/index.html
  12. Why Trump lies (Garry Kasparov on Preet Bharara show) Ever been aghast at the gall of Trump to lie every time he moves his lips? Even with videos, written statements, and real observations to prove that what he says is a lie? Why would he not be ashamed? Why would he not care that he hurts his credibility? Is he insane? Okay, that's not a fair question. Preet Bharara had a Russian guest on his podcast talk show ("Stay Tuned with Preet" ) on 6/28/18. Garry Kasparov, a Russian chess player and vocal Putin critic. He made some interesting statements about Putin and gave some insights about what makes Putin tick and how things work in Russia. One of the points he covered was lying. Putin lies about everything. And pushes propaganda. It's not any particular lie that's important. It's that everything is questionable. It's destabilizing. It's not pushing a particular truth. It's making people believe you can't trust in anything. It destroys the notion of truth. If nothing is true, then everything is relative. Putin is a merchant of doubts. Truth is relative. Everyone's corrupt. Everyone's bad. There's just Russia, surrounded by the evil countries. Only Putin can protect Russia. It's easy to poison people with an abundance of false information. If truth is relative and can't be relied upon, then there is confusion and general doubt about everything. Chaos. What is going on in the U.S. is absolutely like what Putin has done, Kasparov said. It seems "they" have succeeded in spreading doubts among the American public. If the public can't believe a special prosecutor, "they" have succeeded. He also said that Putin looks strong only because the opposition is weak. It's all about looking invincible, not actually being invincible. It's all pushing an agenda, looking successful, not allowing himself to look weak, the image. Everything depends on his image of strength. (I thought about the internationally distributed photo op of a bare chested Putin on a horse.) I thought this was very interesting, as it relates to Trump. It explains a lot. While Kasparov was talking about Putin's blueprint of lying and making people believe that truth is relative, I thought of the book/movie "1984." There's a grueling scene where the Party "teaches" Winston to see that 2 plus 2 equals 5, if the Party says so. Or sometimes 3. https://tunein.com/podcasts/Political-News/Stay-Tuned-with-Preet-p1018528/?topicId=122812620 (If you want to listen to Kasparov yourself, he starts talking about Russia & Putin at about 20:55.)

  15. The Way Trump and the GOP Deal with Russian Attacks is 'Textbook Treason' https://www.thedailybeast.com/the-way-trump-and-the-gop-deal-with-russian-attacks-is-textbook-treason?ref=scroll The Way Trump and the GOP Deal with Russian Attacks is ‘Textbook Treason’ Trump may deny collusion. But given that this the attack continues, denying it is collusion, distracting from it is collusion, obstructing the investigation of it is collusion — because all these things enable it to go on. That the president is abetted in his aid for the Russians — again, in the midst of this ongoing attack — by the leadership of the Republican Party makes the situation all the more extraordinary and dangerous. As they seek to undermine the investigation, they serve Russia as directly as if they were officers of the GRU. Some now reportedly seek to impeach Rosenstein on trumped up charges. To attack one of the leaders of our national defense as we are being attacked and to do so to benefit our foreign adversary is textbook treason. At stake are the results in our 2018 and 2020 elections and the integrity of our political system. This enemy seeks not only to put puppets or weak or deficient leaders in place, it seeks to gain leverage over them as they come to realize they are advertently or not the beneficiaries of the Russian attacks. (We now know clearly how that works.) They seek to use them to advance their interests on a broad international front (consider their success in achieving this goal thus far in this administration … you need look back no further than this week's NATO Summit.)
  16. Ex-Watergate Prosecutor Drops Bomb: Mueller Prepping Indictments For Trump Campaign Officials
  17. I asked a Trump supporter that I know if its found and proven by Mueller that he (dotard) did work with and encourage the Russians to undermine, disrupt and influence the 2016 election would he still support Trump? His reply, "sure...anything is better that having Hillary in office". So, yes they are in fact, fucking traitors.
