  1. I’ll get in trouble trying to make football analogies but i think it’s more like understanding Jon Gruden as a Super Bowl champion head coach. Framing this 446 page conversation as hurr durr billionaire bad is reductive on your part but do you.
  2. How do you think Elon’s stewardship since being redpilled have impacted the affinity that customers have for the products of Tesla and Twitter and that investors have for those businesses?
  3. Elon obviously wasn't always an idiot. And there is clearly value to the rich guy setting a super cool goal and either unleashing brilliant people on it or serving as mascot and marketing. Unfortunately he has the world's most public and devastating case of brain worms, and of course that is an entirely different thing than what Jobs did.
  4. The nice thing is that everyone on my roster sucked on the same week except k allen who I thought was dead and wouldn’t have saved me anyways.
  5. I was. I guess that makes sense as a joke although it didn’t land as one for me.
  6. Georgia is Ohio with a speech impediment. Although I guess that’s not really giving Ohio its due.
  7. This brand of trash talk from Georgia of all places is silly. Congratulations on sitting next to Alabama and Mississippi - that doesn’t make you hot and smart.
  8. Ariana Grande is one of those vague names I know exist but I don’t know… the difference between that and Selena Gomez or half of the other I assume Disney factory outputs that are probably in their thirties but I never learned about. anyways she can’t sing and i don’t think as an actor she could convince me that she is a human being.
  9. goddammit and there’s dj moore’s td overturned
  10. posting here absolutely curses whatever choice you make, fucking k allen with the touchdown on my bench fuck
  11. Lolol what the fuck does he know Herman from mensa
  12. Tucker is there, but I don’t think he’s better than Coleman enough to outweigh the benefit of having both 1 and 2 on a team’s depth chart on the bottom of my wr roster. Slayton and Mccloud are available but I don’t want to rely on Daniel Jones and Flacons players are always a letdown.
  13. Keenan Allen, or either Shakir or Coleman on the Bills? Allen hasn’t done shit, Shakir has been fairly solid but is injured, but if he’s out on MondayI also have Coleman to slide into his place and he should get a boost with Shakir out. Is Allen going to show up?
  14. Link to hat pls
  15. lol how did he steal that interception
  16. I love wingo
  17. My 10 month old son just took his first steps, wearing burnt orange. 🤘🤘let’s gooooo
  18. Found my way to the warranty page, it still has two years left but coverage for the battery just expired. The annoying thing is that it seems that they don’t sell batteries for this model either on the Lenovo site or Lenovo.encompass.com (or at least they don’t currently have them in stock). Seeing if I can get any guidance from Lenovo or I guess I’ll just have to try my luck on ifixit or Amazon or whatever.
  19. Awesome, thanks y'all. I'm mad that I didn't refresh my ancient iphone before they laid me off (and explicitly allowed me to keep the phone), I had just refreshed my laptop this year and would be pissed if I had a bricked $1500 laptop just sitting under my desk.
  20. Boom. Battery out, powers on. This hopefully indicates that a replacement battery would fix the problem, or do you think potentially there’s some kind of problem with the connection to the battery and it’s more complicated than just that?
  21. Yeah taking the battery out and trying to power it on was a step I was going to try. From the googling I’ve done I think it’s powering on and then shutting off maybe as a safeguard from some power problem? Or at least that was my running theory - I will try this, thank you for the help.
  22. That’s certainly something I’ve wondered - if there’s some corporate thing that bricked it. I really don’t think so for a couple different reasons, but I suppose it’s possible. Not a huge company, their IT was not competent, the computer remained completely accessible with all of the company data on it for months after I was let go even when it was connected to the internet, hell it didn’t complain when I connected a thumb drive to get some personal files off of it. But yeah one of my first thoughts woke be “remotely nuked” if I read this. I did the most complete nuke everything and reinstall windows possible. It did come back online; I went through the new windows set up and created a user and was using it for an evening.
