  2. Also Electrek tore into Elon's claims about FSD and how he's lowering expectations: https://electrek.co/2024/08/01/tesla-full-self-driving-data-makes-elon-musk-reduce-expectations/
  3. Been meaning to post this for about a day now Bloomberg posted back on the 30th that Tesla is going to hold their Robotaxi unveil at Warner Bros. California Studio. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2024-08-30/tesla-plans-robotaxi-reveal-at-california-warner-bros-studio\ Full article here: However, a lot of people have been piecing a lot of details together https://www.theverge.com/2024/9/3/24234785/tesla-robotaxi-event-warner-bros-mapping-data-musk Electrik has much of the same here: https://electrek.co/2024/09/02/hacker-reveals-tesla-gathering-extra-data-robotaxi-launch-site/ Basically a lot of people point out this is going to be the FSD Demo 2.0 (you know the one they faked?) They are going to overscan an area that is VERY controlled (It's a damn movie studio lot for God's sake!) and run on that. Yeah the demo is going to go off without a hitch. And they are still going to be YEARS from anything they can really deliver. https://www.threads.net/@technicallymims/post/C_eLa-dxeJT?xmt=AQGzoJat4DRxB6XEK1pXTFzfgSMMidcbg3U5qJvem0ajHQ

  6. Given this stupid name, I guess now is as good of a time as any to post the exchange between Elon and Stephen King and the reaction of the internet. King posted late last week about the Falcon crash and that it grounded their fleet. Elon responded The web called out Elon ... 7. This almost should be pinned on every damn page these days. It basically shows how he red-pilled himself. https://www.motherjones.com/politics/2024/05/i-read-everything-elon-musk-posted-for-a-week-send-help/

  10. So he’s looking at this post, and instead of asking “is this true?” He goes with the thought that the tribe believes it and posts
  11. So a guy trying to play a quick restart isn't a quick restart? Interesting. I mean the video that NBC ran as their comparison isn't really the same. There is no quick restart happening when the Brighton player kicked the ball along the sideline, when Rice gets sent off the Brighton player is literally trying to restart play, Rice kicks the ball away and gets himself kicked. Seems pretty text book to me.
  12. $10 to anyone here - it's gonna be a mock up and nothing more. Elon will make a ton of promises of what it can do, but it will all be future, nothing in the here and now.
  13. The only time I think I cared what the announcers said was 1994 when we were wiped out after the Colorado game we're sitting there and I hear the PA announcer say "Colorado Rushing stats, Rashaan Salaam, 317 yards ...." and I looked at my friend and said "Did he just say 317 YARDS?"
