  1. Alasdair is not convinced anymore. He's wondering why Ange hasn't been fired - in this video he notes that Levy has fired mamangers that were in far better positions than Ange has the team in. Watch us make the Europa final, and fire Ange the week before the game.

  3. Talk about a case of "LITERALLY" needing to read the room.
  4. No disagreement with any of that. My main point is really a way to make sure you control your content while simultaneously being able to grow your site via something like Facebook, Twitter/X, Bluesky, etc. When you read the TOS, you realize that you are granting them a pretty wide, royalty-free, license to your material in a way that is very easy to lose control/rights to it (interpretation via Claude AI): If you just use links, you do a little work to limit what they get
  5. Because we also need it in Bluesky form
  6. Ever since I became aware of the Facebook TOS, I have seriously cut down on my posting to FB to a near trickle. Most of my posts are tags by my wife. I just don't like Meta having that much control of my content. For a site like Traces, I would be intrigued to see you could do a link that would provide enough information and a picture without making much of a post on FB proper. The big thing is that it would start to ween people off FB and over to your site, granted that would drive up your traffic and costs, but there is little question as to who controls your content.
  7. I wouldn’t say that there’s plenty of people that still are on Facebook. The question becomes could you easily move your services off of Facebook onto like say a blog managed by WordPress or something. Frankly, given the terms of service of Facebook I totally would move all that stuff off given the carte blanc that they have with your materials just my two cents.
  8. For a guy that says he’s not worrying about it and so over it he seems worried and not over it.
  9. I guess $1,000,000 just doesn't bribe like it used to. The FTC case went to trial today and Zuck took the stand on Day #1 https://www.nytimes.com/2025/04/14/technology/meta-antitrust-trial-ftc.html?unlocked_article_code=1._04.Djyc.sKvLy47CYL-P&smid=url-share Mark Zuckerberg Takes Stand to Defend Meta Against Antitrust Suit

    Comic Books

Yeah, grading is all the rage now. It's really designed for selling comics. You get your book graded, sell it and the next guy can open it up himself. The downside is that you can't just see the books and worse, you have this whole thing about "maybe I don't want to open the comic up!" But in the end it's just what people do with a lot of high dollar books.
  11. Nice of them to give everyone the middle square for free.
  12. I spent a little time looking - Spurs have conceded first in 7 of the last 9 games and they failed to score in 4 of those. Just a poor run all around.

  14. I would like to see the rest of this interview - but the beginning of this quote does not instill me with confidence
  15. Winning Europa will be great because we will nab a Champions League slot. But what will suck is that we will still have a full schedule without a squad that can handle it. The team will be ground down again. For those that don't know Spurs just hired former Arsenal CEO Vinai Venkatesham as their new CEO. Read details here: https://sports.yahoo.com/article/tottenham-appoint-former-arsenal-chief-142524692.html?guccounter=1&guce_referrer=aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ29vZ2xlLmNvbS8&guce_referrer_sig=AQAAALnfGCnzqSdSU60BH5qJaGEFdBhBzANfHhG1_g1WZwlFYSmaPpQtN9FQunrFjwVkJ-KanZgMX9Sc5MsnA5XOmUudqgeWLSRbKCsSHqiAUfEGaEbcHWVT8_8-UuXi15YYs2xVvhcuC2D3KmcPrGTfq-A1vXKFJM3shpWAiZjhcX_T The guy did oversee most of the Arsenal time under Arteta which can't be seen as anything but a success., he stepped down last summer and this team has taken a step back this year (due to his move?). What does this mean for Spurs ... I will leave this for Alasdair Gold to answer, he address this for the first 15 minutes or so on this:
  16. I went back to watch Paris-Roubaix today - so good. Everything @G650 said.
  17. I think if he wins Europa, he saves his job. But I don't think it's going to happen. This team is too disjointed to make it. They have the talent, but their defense is a mess right now. A ton of really stupid mistakes just pile up. What ultimately his going to cost him his job is his stubborn sticking to his strategy when it ground this team down to a a pulp.
  18. WTF?
  19. RICHIE!!!!
  20. Good to see Kulusevski.
