I went back and watched Triple Frontier the other day. Not bad. Came out 5 years ago, so SPOILER ALERT, but you've been warned. I will just say this - recommended with some reservations (described below with spoilers).
It was a pretty well executed heist film. Some ex-military guys steal a shit ton of money from a drug lord and their escape goes wrong. It actually works well because they didn't have issues (well maybe 1) because they were stupid. Actually they were greedy, which is a normal motivation. In the end one of the guys dies and they escape with a lot less money than they planned or stole (which was more than they planned).
The end felt a lot like Carlito's Way (SPOILER ALERT FOR A 30 YEAR OLD MOVIE), where he almost got out and then was killed by some 2 bit dude that appeared for 10 seconds at the start of the film. In this case Affleck get's got by some kid that he pissed off for obvious reasons, but because he wasn't one of the drug lord's guys it felt not quite right.
Anyway, that's the reservations, entertaining 2 hours, I didn't mind watching it.
