On Vieira - that's a perfectly fine take. He might not be the right guy for the job. I have no issue with debating if someone is or isn't the right guy, so long as they have some track record that means they should be in the discussion (because the names I hear USSF throwing around aren't even close).
I will note that the Vieira part is only a small part of the whole interview and tacked on right at the end. You don't need to listen, but I will tell you it is one of the few well reasons discussions on the state of US Soccer that has been had by the Mainstream media.
Twellman and Hercules are right now the only guys doing that right now. Lalas - yeah, whatever. Meola and Davies are kind of ill informed.
I will say this - if you have interest in and care about this team, you should listen. The guy talks about the federation demonstrating accountability, the approach this hire should be. It's some pretty smart talk. He does get silly at the end, but whatever.
