  1. COYS!!!!
  2. The NY Times analyzed 5 days of tweets by Elon Musk. 1/3 of the tweets were false or misleading. Gift link - read the whole article https://www.nytimes.com/2024/09/27/technology/elon-musk-x-posts.html?unlocked_article_code=1.OU4.T7rB.iZCi1OlUO3yF&smid=url-share
  3. Glad to see that Twitter pays so well
  4. Clearance of the decade?
  5. Fun, but the more I consider the end, overly complex for the sake of complexity. That said, Clooney and Pitt still have it.
  6. Damn. Just saw this news. We just lost an amazing talent. RIP.
  7. Well I did, but not for Spurs. WTF happened? I leave at the half to take my kid to swim lessons & turn the game on to 3-0 Spurs.
  8. DAMN
  9. BJ!!!!
  10. A 1-on-1 would have been better than that. Yet it feels familiar.
  11. Well this is a fucking disaster. What fuck Dragusin?
  12. Game day, delayed by 35 minutes! COYS!!
  13. Free speach absolutionist ... 30% of the time https://www.status.news/p/elon-musk-government-censorship Bummer that much of the article is behind a subscription wall, but this really is damning, IMHO.
  14. Listen to this, it talks about this as a whole and gives you a lot of info of what Russia has been doing You can't activate Starlink in the borders of russia (and they the russian government has banned it). But if the dish is activated outside of russia and you move it into russia, it will work. When this was reported on, Elon gave "the cop out answer
  15. If I take my parent’s Starlink dish & terminal, I can’t just use it anywhere. They “know” it’s not in its home area. There were stories early on of people moving them less than 100 feet and they would deactivate for being moved to a new address. This tech is all geo-located. It shouldn’t be hard to mark all of Russia a restricted area.
  16. My guess is that she vanished as per the story Bad Sam told and then later dropped off River in a basket with note.

  18. There is a longer battle (below), but somene added the comment "False, the Cybertruck’s batteries would’ve exploded during transformation" and the guy redid his video.
  19. Quoting this only because it's about Twitter. Twitter just lost their first arbitration case related to unpaid severance. There are more than 2,000 of these cases pending. These are costs that Twitter is going to be on the hook for. It could be pretty significant. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2024-09-23/ex-twitter-worker-wins-musk-layoff-pay-fight-memo-says EDIT - Just saw this updated post from the guy that wrote that, exactly what "full severance" is in this case:
  20. You know, I gotta give him credit here. He might have found the right play. He might see the writing on the wall of where politics are going. He also knows that making it to Mars in the next 2 yesrs is likely not possible. So blame your impending failure on a likely outcome and ... profit? Also the Daily Beast has an article up on this, no clue on the quality of the article. https://www.thedailybeast.com/elon-musk-says-if-kamala-harris-wins-humanity-will-never-reach-mars But this picture ... concerning.
  21. Drug lords always liked loud cars.
  22. SciFi writer Hugh Howey gets it. Leon it talking out of his ass. And that's if you assume he is even getting anything heading to Mars in 2 years (spoiler alert, he isn't).
  23. LOL. I have my concerns, but my showstopper is dooming humanity to death. Oh ok Leon.
  24. L fucking O fucking L Should be repeated:
