  1. It appears that the higher ups have called a meeting for tomorrow, 9 AM EST
  2. Isn't leaving Chelsea ALWAYS the right move?
  3. Well this chant is gonna be awkward.
  4. Remember this one? I loath to link to this account, but the irony is pretty funny - musk just might be breaking the law in his efforts to influence the election. https://wapo.st/3NA6aVQ
  5. Thats maybe the only situation they should leave the flag down. That looked off on the play but wasn’t. And the. Liverpool strike again to go right back ahead. Fun game.
  6. Hey - that guy understands sports and the gravity of what Austin is hosting this weekend. Leon doesn’t. Hell, for a “car guy” I wonder if he would even be at the f1 race today. Doubt it.
  7. Ref’s owed something to Liverpool.
  8. Was he at the game yesterday? Probably not and that really tells me all I need to know about “Austin resident” Leon.
  9. This thread is a lot quieter than I expected.
  10. I am gruntled with the result
  11. Damn Sonny almost got a quick hat trick!!!
  12. You called that own goal? I guess I got a score another one.
  13. Aawwwww yeahhhh!!!
  14. Udoggie style!!! That pass.
  15. I know! I just saw the goal. If not for my kiddo, I would have celebrated it.
  16. I just turn it on and we’re losing? Ugh.
  17. It was a fucking friendly.
  18. Really? (political comment removed) People believe that he is the guy doing this.
  19. Posting that podcast reminded me I meant to post this from a few days back. Long story short, Elon has been giving money to political causes (you'll never guess for what side) for a while now through big time dark money.
  20. I don't think anyone is discounting his impact on Tesla through force of money, will and manipulation. You saying things like: The fact that Musk was the 4th person in Tesla, joining the now-250 months old company 6 months after it was founded, and as the majority owner and actual chair, had authority over the company? It really feels like you don't really know/understand the history of the company so it makes this statement seem disingenuous. Yeah, he did a lot after this, because he was able to use his money and loading up the board with his people to wrest the company away from the real founders and then sue them into oblivion to make them go away. This is a great crash course in the history of Elon Musk and Tesla, I recommend it: But even with all his resources, you can see that Tesla needed a lot of help. If not a for subsidies, they go under.
  21. Yeah, this was Poch’s first window of, what … 4 practices? 2 games. And a lot of injuries. It’s way early, let’s see how things develop.
  22. The only question I have now is what players are going to step up in the next season and a half? They said it in the post game, there are the starters and then there is that next level and the gap there is pretty wide.
  23. I was just about to say the same. I would like to see us be a little more physical back at these guys.
  24. I would also add that: A. He didn't start out that well either, opening up with 2 losses to Mexico in 2 games B. He generally was running out a A level squad against Mexico. This 11 is a B-/C squad if you ask me.
  25. Meh. All but one of his games was on US soil.
