  1. After Biden won, I gave up watching pundit shows. It's been wonderful.
  2. I opposed him, too, but he won the nomination. He should have announced he wasn't running again after the mid-terms. But he didn't, and here we are.
  3. It's amazing how easily you can replace Leftist with Right Wing and the sentence remains true depending on who just won an election.
  4. I'm not sure they'll get rid of the filibuster. If they do, I will be pleasantly surprised and hope it remains on the ash heap of history.
  5. I have some bad news for you. You aren't going to do it here, either.
  6. A lot of it has to do with the general attitude that comes with catering to the sensibilities considered sacrosanct by college educated coastal elites. Playing to the MSNBC crowd. Talking down to people. It's off putting to a lot of voters who actually like Democratic policies. A lot of those voters stayed home.
  7. The dance between the White House and the Senate is going to be fun to watch.
  8. Inflation guaranteed that the Democrats were going to lose this election no matter what. But they do need to ease up on the coastal snobbishness.
  9. My mother has one and the premium increases over the last five years have been, shall we say, eye opening.
  10. If you know anything about politics, you know that coalitions are fickle. Reagan's landslide victory was a distant memory by 1992. All it took was a little shake up in the economy and poof! it was gone.
  11. What about billions for private space exploration companies?
  12. Yeah, you're gonna have to provide a source on that one.
  13. This isn't new. Democratic policies are generally more popular than Republican policies. It's been that way since the New Deal.
  14. No one gives a shit who passes and fails the bar exam. It's a tired ritual that serves no practical purpose. You should know this. You have to deal with lawyers who passed the bar.
  15. And you'll blame it when you lose. As per usual.
  16. Another world war would do it. Not sure Europe is ready for that.
  17. 1992 called and wants its talking point back.
  18. Even if that bill never passes, how are they getting torched by the status quo?
