  2. Democrats need to get better at convincing them not to.
  3. The list goes on and on. Democrats need to get better at politics. It's really that simple. Conversely, it's not going to be easy for Republicans to replace Donald Trump. He has turned out to be much more politically gifted than I expected.
  4. Universal healthcare, Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, workers rights, paid family leave. All supported a majority of Americans.
  5. I understand where you're coming from, but this sentiment is why Democrats lose elections.
  6. Politically, Democrats have an elitism problem. They are seen as snobbish and out of touch. That's a problem of perception. Democratic policies are actually very popular.

  9. Democrats lost bigly. She was obviously an ineffective campaigner. There's no conspiracy. Democrats need to dust themselves off and do better next time.
  10. The prices that remain high even though inflation has returned to normal is what smashed the blue wall.
  11. I've enjoyed conservative tears, as recently as 2020. I'm looking forward to enjoying them again. Given Donald Trump's track record as president, I'm guessing it won't be all that long of a wait.
  12. The black vote didn't change, even if black men shifted. If those numbers are accurate, Hispanic voters won this election for Trump.

  15. And yet she couldn't convince the American electorate that she's a better choice than Donald Trump. I'm not sure that's the sign of an effective campaigner.
  16. No, you don't. You just need a requisite amount of states to agree to award their electors to the popular vote winner.
  17. Probably a bunch of overreach which will swing voters back to Democrats.
  18. This should never stop. The sooner the electoral college is abolished the better.
  19. But people are still paying higher prices, for the most part. That's problematic for the incumbent party.
  20. It might be as simple as inflation and a massively unpopular incumbent whose unpopularity resulted from said inflation.
  21. If any of that happens, Democrats win the mid-terms and 2028.
