  1. By the way, I'm on the "side" that this was an unjustifiable fuck up by the GA high school crew. Not arguing that. I'm just also on the side that big 12 refs are, whether intentionally or due to negligence, among the worst anywhere year in and year out.
  2. Sure. Fumble by ou on (I believe?) their first drive against us this year that was called incorrectly and not reviewed. Want another? Safety that wasn't vs Alabama. Didn't require any research, just thinking for about 5 seconds about our games this year.
  3. They have really out-aggied themselves this week. If no one said anything, not having an oc hired at this point would not be ideal, but not particularly shocking or newsworthy. But no. In their neverending need to shout and bluster about absolutely nothing, everyone from Lucci to KKL had to scream from the rooftops that GREAT OC news would be announced by Friday. Naturally, the things they overoptimistically assumed would happen did not happen, forcing them to acknowledge that one of the expected candidates (Riley, mullen, etc) turned them down. Now they're left to feign excitement over remaining candidates like Bobby fucking Petrino. If they could just shut their mouths for five seconds, none of this happens. But of course they can't.
  4. Tbh, couldn't remember the injury or timing. Just that he was going to be out for fall (where sometimes they return for bowl games in those situations). Thanks.
  5. I think they tend to be surprised by the hard shit that goes into actual service and the lack of yelling, whooping, boot sliding, horn sawing, and nut squeezing. Somehow the aggy experience is failing to set appropriate expectations.
  6. Maybe a dumb q, I haven't really followed the injury or rehab status at all, any chance of getting someone like Neyor back for the game or is he really out until next year? It would certainly help to have another legit receiving threat to take focus away from Worthy, Whittington, and Sanders.
  7. I love when they say these things..."like they have planned it." Yes, it was always planned this way to have zero momentum and a borderline top 20 class just days from nsd1. This was always a super secret recruiting strategy and not a power struggle with Jimbo and the money that is resulting in desperation $ deals at the 11th hour so rich aggy don't have to be teased by their mean tu buddies about landing a shit class after a shit season. Even though it might look exactly like that, it's definitely not that.
  8. Counterpoint - it gets easier for Jimbo to sell them on "just needing one more year" every year due to youth when they actually have no jrs and srs every year due to attrition. I'll give the old hillbilly credit, maybe he has actually figured out a scheme by which he can perpetually point to the roster as why his teams aren't performing yet. You might think aggy would eventually catch on that he's running off every player worth a shit who he coaches for 1-2 years, but this is aggy. Critical thinking, self evaluation, and pattern recognition aren't exactly their strong suits.
  9. The most logical conclusion is that the money (only leverage aggy has over Jimbo) refused to play until he hired an oc. Notice kkl suddenly seems confident that they both have a new oc and are about to land a bunch of recruits? Wonder why in the world those would be connected? It sure didn't hurt recruiting last year not to have a dc. I'll believe any new coach or recruit makes a difference when I see it. The guy at the top is still the same. I know there are examples like dabo who took a bit to get things right at Clemson, but has there ever been a coach as experienced as Jimbo who looked this average in a role for the first 6 years and suddenly turned out title winning teams? I can't think of a single one, and if there are any I'd bet the probability is astronomically low. So keep throwing your money on that fire, aggy. It only makes the futility that much more fun to watch.
  10. It is going to be truly fascinating to see how the aggy mods try to spin this cycle when it's all done. It's pretty easy to guess what is actually happening behind the scenes (the $ is staying on the sidelines), but obviously they can't just say that. How do you spin this kind of disaster at this point in Jimbo's tenure? Isn't it pretty unprecedented that looch isn't even bothering to release his 44? Like it has never been this bad? Maybe this is why they're starting the message board screenshot rumors. YOU POSTERS and damn tu are the real reason why recruiting tanked this year. Jimbo would've landed another top five class if it wasn't for all your mean internet words.
  11. If us taking screenshots of racist shit and showing it to recruits was a) true and b) effective, it would've been weaponized plenty after the kellon mond, sul ross statue stuff. You could've just searched the forum for the word "uppity" and had a treasure trove of ammunition.
  12. My favorite posts from all this are KKL assuring everyone that not all of their scrubs will find landing spots (so basically even though they want to leave they're not very good so they'll be back), and the ags convincing themselves that the players are just holding them ransom for more NIL like that's a good thing. "No, no, this is all fine, they just are going to threaten to leave unless they get more money." I guess Jimbo really has been coaching them up, after all.
  13. They've been using "we're a young team, just wait for next year" for years now whether it has been true or not. Jimbo just figured out how to make it true, perpetually.
  14. Now you know why Jimbo has been targeting such a huge class for 23.
  15. On the general topic of this thread, Klieman has seemed to be a very solid hire for Kstate. Really good pick for a lot of reasons to replace the wizard. Happy they won a big 12 championship as I like that fan base more than most other in the B12 (RIP, fatty). Living in Frisco, I've been exposed to the NDSU fans for years. They've always been genuinely fun to hang with, maybe bc they're always in a good mood bc they're always winning. I really thought Bohl would have more success when he left than it seems like he has. Maybe my expectations were too high bc it's Wyoming, maybe he's actually done better there than I realized only casually watching, or maybe it was actually others on his staff responsible for the success. Either way it's cool to see one of the guys who had so much sustained success there translate it to winning at the P5 level. Rooting for them against bama, obviously, although I agree with the poster above who said how they played against our talent gap doesn't inspire confidence.
  16. Maybe the last line was about meat judging. You ever think of that, ya dumb sip?
  17. Is there a win big enough over 8-4 Purdue to push Michigan ahead of Georgia (assuming Georgia wins)? Doesn't seem likely.
  18. Shades of
  19. Get ready for a whole lot of bitching about rounding up.
  20. He does know where the last game was played, right? And the outcome?
