  1. With their season done, it was actually interesting to read through bizzle's post a bit more closely to see exactly where he was more accurate vs not...enjoy... True, but damn that flu! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I'll agree that Jimbo's play calling was the difference, at least It's kind of hard to make this argument when he played exactly like his stats from those 5 quarters suggested he would. I guess sometimes small samples can be representative. You were downright prescient here... I had my doubts he could do it with the shitshow around him, but credit achane, he was a beast this year. ... You were so close to right on your wr section, but made zero mention of Moose, so I'm afraid I want to make fun of you for this, but it's actually quite accurate Yet again... I'm going to assume you didn't mean bring the fight to the locker room. I'm not sure you guys have a great season with elko, but you certainly make a bowl. See: Durkin, DJ Kind of wild that both of these were in your preseason review but defense wasn't anticipated to be a big concern. Yes, yes it was.
  2. Don't mind if I do!
  3. So.......on the precipice?
  4. Oh, they've made some history this season, all right.
  5. You weren't going to watch the game on TV because it wasn't on TV. Anywhere. Take that in... Most people probably have 15 channels that show college football, and not one was interested in showing this game.
  6. People may think she's an outlier when watching this, but they don't realize that anyone who has ever known an aggy has had this same argument with them, with exactly the same Walter Sobchak "calmer than you are, dude" tone to their defensiveness. She really put together a nice case study in arguing with aggy's overconfident wrongness here.
  7. Be happy it's a rivalry game. KU has sucked for a long time, and finally do not (despite the outcome of our game, this is the best team they've had since Mangino). They say in these rivalry games, usually the team who wants it more wins. I could see that being KU this year. Not that I'm trying to rationalize to myself how this happens or anything.
  8. Hamm had better watch out, this kind of insubordination is likely to get his media credentials yan... Oh wait. Nevermind.
  9. Stats weren't great. I think someone said he threw twelve straight incompletions in a row. Tbh it would've gotten more play here if our offense hadn't looked like Jimbo was coordinating it against tcu.
  10. You could argue it's their own legal team. They're the reason aggy is fucked right now. With an even reasonably equitable contract they'd just fire him.
  11. I was fully expecting this kind of game plan for tcu and baffled that it looked like we didn't prepare at all. On offense, at least. Defense had possibly their best game plan of the year, it was just unfortunately married to no offensive plan at all.
  12. "Moose, put down the joint and take off the sleeves" "Go fuck yourself, Boomhauer" "Tell them he's sitting bc he won't take off the sleeves"
  13. "I don't think you understand, Mr Gates, we're telling you that you could have your name on THIS building." "...a Kroger?" "No no no, we get that a lot, that's actually the stadium."
  14. Won, and seems to have a great stat line for a backup. I love that Colt is still hanging out in the league, making money and winning games when he has the chance.
  15. No one has said for sure, but there are pictures of him playing vs Florida wearing full sleeves...
  16. He has no option. He is recruiting and playing in the state of Texas. He needs someone experienced in taking an outdated, ineffective, plodding offensive system and in a single offseason transforming it into a wide-open, up-tempo, spread-based attack. The choice is clear.
  17. Dykes and his staff have done a great job this season. They're also no more proven for the long run based on their results this season than Todd Orlando or Manny Diaz were when they had great first seasons. This is all kind of my point. Progress is determined seasons at a time not games at a time. We're not as good as we looked against OU or as bad as we looked against TCU. We're somewhere in between and our record at the end of the season will tell us more about how we've evolved since last season than any game in a vacuum will. Similarly, how Dykes and staff follow up this season next year will tell us a lot more about whether they can sustain success at this level. He hasn't had this kind of success for his career, so this season is an outlier based on that. I'm not saying you're wrong about us (if anything, history would suggest your typically pessimistic takes have proven justified), I'm just saying the jury is out on if we're progressing or not. How we finish the season will tell me a lot more about that than a 7 point loss to #4 tcu in year 2.
  18. I think people are pissed about last night when really tech and ok state are the games to be pissed about. Our other two losses are to legitimate top 10 teams. It sucks that we had a chance to win both and didn't, but those aren't the losses to be stressing in year 2. So, we only have tech/osu quality opponents remaining. We need to prove we're past losing to them. If we do that, I can feel optimistic going into year 3. If we lose either of those, it presents serious doubt we're actually much better this year than last. Following up 5-7 with 8-4 or 9-4 is much different trajectory than following it up with 6-7. All of those outcomes are still on the table and each would put us in a much different place to end the season.
  19. Curious from those more knowledgeable on recruiting what the likely impact from a performance like last night will be. Sark the offensive play caller is fairly proven despite objectively laying a huge egg last night. I struggle to think offensive recruits dismiss his track record on one performance. Defense had the most question marks and most to gain or lose last night, and turned in their best outing of the season when adjusted for quality of opponent. Sark as a head coach suffers the most from a perception standpoint taking a loss when a win over #4 would be a big statement that the program is going on the right direction in year 2. That didn't happen, but I think the impact of the loss would depend a lot on the expectations of recruits. Are they expecting we're beating #4 in year 2 or improving incrementally in year 2?
  20. Number 33 was not having it.
  21. Depends a lot on your definition of "best" since that could be defined in a lot of ways. But some stand out female vocalists who I haven't seen listed yet: Phoebe Bridgers Haley Williams Norah Jones Lana Del Rey
  22. So he's the anti Leon O'Neal.
  23. aggy's NIL collectives are opaque on purpose like Bernie Madoff's investment strategies were opaque on purpose.
  24. aggy hates mbg for the same reason they keep taking down midnight yell videos. They claim to be proud of their "differences" and how "from the outside, you can't understand it" but in actuality they know their entire school and fanbase are fucking weird and they'd kind of like to keep that under wraps. Unfortunately, their prediction that this "internet" fad will die down in a few years doesn't seem to be panning out.
