Just curious if this is reddit sucking ass or something on Surly's side, but does anyone else have issues with reddit embedded videos only showing the top of the video?
Cisco certs are notable when hiring in IT. CCIEs actually earned that crap, while MCSEs are mostly worthless hacks that took a test and purged all the knowledge within 24 hours.
CCNAs are more a dime a dozen, but that at least shows they've had a ramp-up in the OSI model and the basics of networking, which is useful when hiring IT admins.
PMPs, on the other hand, are the new realtors. They get hired to fill out the TPS reports and get the technical employees coffee.
Am I the only one that was about to chunk my TV out the window with Okie Lite changing their jerseys and field paint from orange to red last Saturday?! Pick a damn color already! I place the blame solely on the mullet for this one.
Saw pics on X yesterday of Bull Creek nearby. Nice brownish water flowing pretty quickly down to Lake Austin. Should be interesting to balance that out with Mansfield and Miller dams.
I don't think I've brewed since I moved into the new house. Family life definitely replaced my brew days. Luckily we still get the occasional keg from Total Wine to keep the house stocked, but it's to the point where it's cheaper to just get a keg rather than try to brew it. $40 for the supplies, 6-8 hours of time, half a bottle of propane, and 2 weeks+ waiting, or I can just go get a keg at TW for $60...
The fall of Austin Homebrew Supply was the nail in the coffin for many it seems.
Man, I hate to do it, but it's time for me to part with the equipment collecting dust in the garage.

It really is nice not seeing the constant one-sided stats from the Rig12 officials week in and week out. Lopsided holding calls, game-altering PIs, questionable targeting calls / no-calls, etc. This season's been a breath of fresh air compared to the last decade, for sure!
Even better pro-move is to schedule the email to send at 4:31am, so you can be dead asleep but still appear to GAF. 4:31 being a little more random than 04:30:00...
