  1. Didn’t get to see much of the early games but djd make it home to watch Auburn finally look like it had an idea of how to finish a game. Happy for that. Then switched over to SMU v Duke. Massive choke by Duke. SMU kept handing them the game, especially in the 4th and Duke just fucked it up. I was glad to see Jennings didn’t get hurt on the one INT he threw because it sure looked, live, like the Duke player went right at him and broke his leg. Thankfully the replay showed otherwise even though it looked bad for his knee.
  2. https://www.winsipedia.com/usc/vs/rutgers first game ever with these two teams
  3. I think the plate said West Virginia
  4. I’ll watch a bit of that. Why not? Pitt is already done. My weekend is free.
  5. Andre Ware said it was pass interference!
  6. My friend from Lou-eh-ville is at the game and just said the fans are throwing bottles at their cheerleaders and the security is twiddling their thumbs in response.
  7. I love Boston. Any time I am there I do the Freedom Trail. I love The Black Rose. I love the history, it’s incredible. If you could get rid of the Bostonians, at least the sports fans, it’d be great. I’m enjoying this comeback. Now they have to finish.
  8. Come on, Man! You should be able to, with your eyes closed, punt a ball 40-yards in the air.
  9. Lou-eh-ville. Withe the “eh” almost silent.
  10. A funny thing about Cam Johnson is that his senior year in high school the neighbor kid across the street played against OLSH in the playoffs and my neighbor held Cam, who spent a couple days in the hospital earlier in the week with a mild pneumonia, to 28 points in a half.
  11. I have friends who went to both schools. My cousin’s X, she went to BC, and my friend who went to Louisville played on one of their first gal’s soccer teams there. I think I’m rooting for Louisville. That, and I hate BC.
  12. Years ago the Coach’s association voted to stop the halftime heading to the lockers interviews but, the NCAA & TV overruled them
  13. These fucking sideline interviews are terrible. They should stop.
  14. The Cards still have a shot here. Get a TD now and the fourth quarter is wide open. That was a fantastic scene.
  15. I should be looking at that picture and say, “hey, that’s Cam, Gilbert Johnson’s boy. I’ve known Cam since he was a kid playing at Our Lady of Sacred Heart High School.” But, I’m not because something is distracting me.
  16. He could have, "sit your bitch-ass down" but, didn't.
  17. It's not a great stat sheet for Pitt. There is a shit ton to work on before next week at SMU. Look at third downs, fourth downs, Time of Possession, # of plays, yards, etc. A lot of work. Looking forward to Louisville at Boston College tonight. Could be a fun game. I hate B.C. The other two games look fun, too. Boise v UNLV and Rutgers playing a conference game (which makes perfect sense) at USC.
  18. There was a hand-written letter that surfaced up there that GodPa had written to the university president demanding that the woman in charge of student discipline be fired. Also that he should be the only one in charge of player discipline. This came in the early 2000s when he had about 100, or more, issues involving players. He said he would quit fundraising for the university if the woman was not fired. I don’t need to tell you the end result there.
  19. That was one of the strangest games I have ever been to. I was deep-diving for interesting stats to get on air. Pitt was 1/7 on third down and Syracuse was 6/7 on 4th. McCord threw 64 passes tonight. In Donovan McNabb’s freshman season he completed 128 passes. So McCord threw half the number in one game that McNabb completed in a season. Syracuse had 13 possessions to Pitt’s nine. Pitt scored three TDs on Syracuse’s 13 possessions and just two TDs on our own nine. But, i don’t care because a win is a win is a win.
