  1. He’s lived a lot in his 46 years.
  2. With all the flags thrown tonight….none on that hit? edit: shoulder to shoulder but, still looked a bit late after the ball was already incomplete
  3. Terrible throw there by Lamar. Great job by the Tampa guy to get that ball but I think he was down
  4. Here’s ESPN’s take on the story. https://www.espn.com/wnba/story/_/id/41927950/wnba-players-opt-cba-face-potential-work-stoppage
  5. Derrick Henry is a bad dude. So is Lamar Jackson.
  6. Big stop there. This game is entertaining
  7. I like Evans, I hope he’s not badly hurt. And, Baltimore’s defense is looking bad.
  8. https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/41930672/griffey-sr-jr-hand-bronny-potential-debut Ken Griffey Jr. & Sr heading to Los Angeles to witness history!
  9. Yay, #2 & #3 in largest payrolls set to face off! Yankees − $303,322,047 v Dodgers − $249,823,654
  10. My brother and I have talked a lot about this sort of thing. My 1998 911 is a great little car. It is fun and you do have to concentrate when you are driving a bit aggressively on the back roads. My brother asked me one time how I would drive if I took the car to a track. I responded that me having that car does not make me drive like Michael Schumacher and that I’d drive, at most, 6/10s. Look at those videos of the idiots coming out of the Cars & Coffee events and how they wreck, it’s ludicrous
  11. We’ll find out a lot more about the Steelers once they have to play some divisional games. Still, I feel a lot better this morning than I did after that Cowboys game. Last week’s victory over the Raiders and last night over the Jets are not equal to beating the ‘85 Bears. So, we will see.
  12. Well, that was certainly enjoyable. Hopefully it is a sign of things to come. The OL was a lot more physical than the recent past. Wilson did much better than he began the game. The Jets are not too good so time will tell but, a win is a win. Well done. Purely non-scientific observation but, I attribute the victory to the throwback numbers on the jerseys and not that stupid thin rounded font they have been wearing for the last decades.
  13. Are we talking about your dad, or Cronkite, saying these things?
  14. The Steelers have had a string of WRs that were, in my eyes, pretty talented, and their prime years (Antonio Brown being the exception) being wasted or not developed. I think there is no doubt that AB had Hall of Fame talent but, his bell was rung too many times and he just went goofy.
  15. I’m certainly not picking only on Teryl but, the offensive coordinators have gotten shit for years. This team is one of the worst 4-2 teams of the past 25 years. When we were in school Teryl was part of The Burnt Toast Patrol, the nickname we had for the secondary.
  16. I went to Pitt with Teryl Austin, the Steelers DC and I am amazed that he has not yet started to get some heat. This defense is so not clutch.
  17. Even given that completion I’m not sure that Wilson is really the answer to what ails the Steelers. I hope I am mistaken but, I think the offensive line problems are still too big.
  18. Dude made over $100,000,000 in his career and this is what he is doing. Sad.
  19. Texas had more turnovers than third down conversions. Up front was the difference, that’s it.
  20. That’s correct. It look a bit like the Tennessee v Alabama game. The relentless pressure from the defensive front was the difference. You also won’t win many games against very good teams when you manage 1.1 yards per carry. The nice thing is there is time to get things settled.
