  1. I think that will be called a forward pass.
  2. Baylor just scored to break the tie at Colorado.
  3. Thankfully no sort of letdown after the last two comebacks at Cincy and against WVU last week. A lot of guys made plays, and for the most part everyone was healthy
  4. Should be one interesting start tomorrow with Hamilton in the second row behind Norris and Max.
  5. The two early games last night were pretty fun. Unfortunately for me, I fell asleep before Stanford & Illinois won their games. Pitt has, what we hope is, a bit of a reprieve week with Youngstown State doing to town. This would be a nice day to get more guys worked into the new offense. Of course, in Paul Chryst’s first game as Pitt HC we lost to the Penguins. So, never underestimate Pitt’s ability to fuck up a sure thing. I am really looking forward to watching some of the Oklahoma v Tennessee game. That should be a lot of fun.
  6. I disagree. It'd be cool to watch a bit of Kansas if they go to Morganhole and beat WVU.
  7. He sure does. He does great work for people.
  8. My brother lived in Taiwan for 30 years and their weather could sure be nutty. One trip to Hong Kong we were the last plane out of the old Kai Tak Airport and the wind was blowing so hard it looked like our plane was flapping its wings. I was very uneasy at that. That whole Pacific Rim has some crazy weather. Hopefully it calms down a bit.
  9. That sure was nutty for an ending.
  10. At least they wouldn’t have those pesky fireball inducing fuel stops to worry about.
  11. You seem to ignore all the great work Lance Stroll is doing to help make Alonzo's car that much better. I don't get it. 🤔
  12. The Gus Johnson And Joe Tessatore school of F1 announcing. How awesome would it be to have Gus doing these races? ”LewIS Haaaaammmiillltooon finishes IN Thirteenth PLACE!” I like her. She’s been great since they brought her on. I won’t say that Sainz drove right into Perez. Guys are not going to do that, not at that speed. Not at that point in the race and sure as hell not with that many championship points on the line. I think Perez was just a bit nudging and not leaving enough room. Not 100% on Perez but, I do think Sainz had the edge in position. I am so curious as to what the hell has happened to Max. It really is quite amazing. I mentioned before that my brother used to do McLaren’s trademark work in Asia so I have always had a bit of a soft spot for them. I am just glad that there is some real racing. It really is so different than what we had just a season ago. It really is fun. It’s not perfect but, it’s a shit ton better. Another bang up effort by Stroll. His daddy must really love him, or, Lance knows the deep dark secrets of Lawrence’s rise to billionaire status. Also, I am really happy to see Williams start to attain a competitive level.
  13. Someone said, a few pages back, that they thought Piastri might just be better than Norris. I’ve always kind of liked Norris but, I have also tended to lean that way. I thought I saw something a bit different in Piastri, a winning calmness, waiting to be released. I think he is really top-notch.
  14. Norris with some desperate pit stop strategy needed on lap 27. He’s dropping a second a lap.
  15. Yeah, and that second group, Sainz-Norris-Max, is having a go at it too.
  16. It seems I did jinx him. Great pass by Piastri. LeClerc now has Perez on his rear bumper as he attempts to get back at Piastri.
  17. That section around the castle is scary as hell. Mercedes seems to really be struggling today.
  18. LeClerc having a nice day (no jinx). Now into the pits. Nice stop.
  19. This was before last year’s game in Morganhole. I give this kid credit for venturing through the different level’s of Dante’s Inferno. Didn’t hear much out of the Hoopies yesterday. There were way fewer of them in town and at the game than are normally here. Thankfully, I didn’t see any incidents between fans.
  20. I’m shocked that Stroll had an incident that resulted in an early puncture early in the race. It’s very uncharacteristic for him. More Collins, less Karun (sp).
  21. That was just a great Backyard Brawl. And I am not saying that because we won. That was just fun and maddening at the same time. Both fan bases can find some good and a lot of bad to take away from the game. For the life of me I just don’t understand why WVU chooses to rely on Greene and not Donaldson and White. I really like Donaldson. I liked the WVU helmets. One of my buddies wore that helmet when he played at WVU in the 1970s. The game rarely disappoints, like last year’s abortion of a game. For the most part, from what I saw, people were well-behaved, even after the game. Which is good. I should be at our game at UNC Oct. 5. It’s possible that I might not make it because there may be a memorial for a dear friend from my childhood who died the end of August. My brother and I have talked about it and were are not so much into celebrating after death since we were very present during his life and don’t want to take part of those Facebook-type pissing contests of “I miss him more than you”, Yada yada.
