  1. Germans have had their chances. They can’t bitch about that. You just have to finish, they haven’t.
  2. Holy scheisse, all he had to do was gently chip that. Ugh.
  3. Offense is such a struggle for Germany, as it has been since late 1942.
  4. Lewis during P2, “the track is fine, I’m just slow”. Rain is a possibility this weekend.
  5. I’ve started doing our baked potatoes on the smoker. I just oil them up on the outside, no wrapping in foil. I salt & pepper them and put them on at about 220 degrees for two hours and they are perfect.
  6. Nah, a lot of you folks go way big, more than I. I didn’t go crazy on the second one. It’s a Traeger and was on sale at Ace Hardware.
  7. I’ve had my Recteq for years and it has been flawless. As others have said, I too clean out the fire pit about every fifth use. It’s easy and keeps from any problems developing. We have an event every summer, called MeatFest, and last week I purchased a second pellet smoker so as to not have to do too many different meats at one time, on one smoker. MeatFestVII should be good.
  8. This popped up on the YouTube today. Pretty fun stuff.
  9. At times I get very nervous driving the Riviera. I am constantly looking at the gauges, looking out the mirrors, etc. and I drive as defensively as possible.
  10. That's 👆 sharp. Very sharp. This is the car parked at the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix. I always had a parking pass for up the hill from the Start/Finish and it was neat how so many drivers would take a look at her. I always parked opposite of the driver's paddock.
  11. Olive Gold Metallic. It looks better on the car.
  12. We had a 1977 Olds Delta 88. It was an interesting car. It was supposed to have the Olds V-8 but, it had the Chevy and there was a nationwide lawsuit and I remember my dad didn't really care about it so he never joined the lawsuit. It was basically just a floating barge of a car.
  13. Oh, it is inside. It hasn't seen rain in over 30 years. It is babied more than the '98 911. Had both of the cars out yesterday. It's amazing how so many people react to the Riviera. At three stop lights people in the next lane yelled over at me wanting to talk about the car. https://xr793.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/1968-Buick-Exterior-Colors-Chart.pdf
  14. I’ve been trying to figure out why all these other games are so much more enjoyable than our games. It can’t just be that we are emotionally invested in Team U.S.A. And that being the case our games just eat us up inside.
  15. Wow, such a great chance for Colombia. Put it over the crossbar
  16. Yup, picked that GIF for that reason.
  17. My grandfather, the one who gave me the 1968 Riviera, was terrible at maintaining cars. Grandpa graduated from medical school in 1923, so even during The Great Depression he had money, or at least was paid in eggs, and meats and things. I even have a pool table from an old Pittsburgh pool hall because the owner needed to pay grandpa for a surgery. Anyway, the Riviera was bought new and for some damned reason, at some point in the late ‘70s, the Great Earl Scheib painted a good portion of the car. Now, I think there was no attempt at matching what was a beautiful color, Olive Gold Metallic, which was only on the Riviera in ‘68, no other General Motors car. Well, it was an absolutely horrible paint job and just looked like shit. I got the car in high school, and like an ass I had the car painted black (ugh) and had the original vinyl top taken off. The original was lime green, very sharp with the Olive Gold. Thankfully, after I graduated from college, a few years after I had it all stripped and taken back to the original Olive Gold and found a sharp vinyl top, sort of a grey/slate color. I have no idea how Earl Scheib ever grew past one location. It was awful.
  18. Lakers introduced Bronny today. J.J. & Pelinka said that Bronny “earned this” and that he is guaranteed one of the 15 roster spots.
  19. I love that Brazil stays true to their uniforms. You can always tell it’s Brazil.
  20. That was just awesome. The people who run our federation here in America should be forced to spend one entire day watching that game, in a loop. That's how it is supposed to be. I wanted Austria to win but, damn that was amazing.
  21. What has changed?
  22. For the first time I think we are seeing the media attempting to hold the coach accountable.
  23. I don’t think it is so wrong to say that this team is soft. They are not physically imposing in the least. Pulisic, me agreeing that he is soft is more about him being a small guy. I’m saying that he’s not going to overpower anyone and I don’t think teh rest of teh team is good enough that he can do what he does in Italy, with more quality around him. Very few guys on this team seem to be able to overpower anyone.
