  1. The son of Arthur Blank still gets shit from his old soccer teammates about that game. The boys are quite brutal with him, as they should be.
  2. Brutal loss. I hate that fucking Sweet Caroline song
  3. I just thought a couple of his dives were a bit ambitious. I generally like Norris and i still think both of them were a bit jagoff-ish today.
  4. Amazing 10 minutes by England. Boooooooooo
  5. I recorded that show and just finished watching. He looked fantastic. About 10 seconds before the ending uppercut that one in the middle of the ring was devastating as well. A really solid effort. Lopez was so underwhelming. I guess I am just yelling at kids on my lawn here when I say he should spend less time on his ring entrance, and more time training. That entrance was such crap. Then, the fight was nothing more than a glorified sparring session. I don't know who it is that is advising him but, he needs someone different in his ear. That guy, Claggett, he fought is 35-years old. Yeah, he did okay but, he should not have been in there. If Lopez moves up he is going to have some issues because guys will be able to hurt him. I like Lopez and want him to do well but, in his present form I like him less. I am looking forward to this: July 6: Newark, New Jersey (ESPN/ESPN+) -- Title fight: Shakur Stevenson vs. Artem Harutyunyan, 12 rounds, for Stevenson's WBC lightweight title - Watch on ESPN and ESPN+, 9 p.m. ET
  6. That was well said. He was very measured and calm, and precise. I think there was a lot going on between Norris and Max that was not in the spirit of racing. Both were assholes today but, that final incident was on Max. That was wrong. And as others have said, that's Max from 8 years ago. It's not a good look for either of them, or the sport. It is kind of funny that Russell was there to pick up the pieces. I have made no secret of my disdain for English drivers in a German car. I don't like it but, I don't hate Russell. And a good job by him being in position to do what he did. I would have liked a few more laps to see if Piastri could have gotten closer. I also chuckled that Sainz finished in front of Hamilton. I think it was very good that eight teams were in the top-10 in this one. Aston better get its shit together, cuz, they suck.
  7. Not a terrible game. Germany still must play better.
  8. Correct, the Heinz Chapel. It is on the same grounds at the Cathedral of Learning. It’s an amazing building as well. Their doors actually line up perfectly on the eastern side of the Cathedral of Learning. I’ve been to many weddings, and even some funerals, in Heinz Chapel. We used to go there for Sunday mass. Correct. Unfortunately the building that was put up in place of Forbes Field is one of the ugliest, brutalist buildings of all time, used to be called Forbes Quad. Just horrible. The Frick (named for Frick who worked for Mr. Carnegie and he was more responsible for the Homestead Riots than was Carnegie) Fine Arts Building is just behind the outfield wall where Mazeroski hit the homer to beat the Yankees in Game 7 that year. I had a ton of classes in the Cathedral. The first three floors have classrooms that are called the Nationality Rooms. People from Pittsburgh who came from other countries got together and renovated rooms to reflect traditional school rooms from their native countries. Really an awesome thing. The Honors College is in the Cathedral, as well as a lot of department offices, i.e. English, Sign Language, German, etc.
  9. That should have been another goal. Ugh.
  10. It is from the Cathedral of Learning. The pattern is supposed to mimic the arches inside the commons area, same for the numbers font. It’s a truly spectacular building, my favorite in Pittsburgh.
  11. Germany is pissing around with these guys. Shoot some balls on the goal.
  12. I’d say it falls under Obstruction, so, not allowed.
  13. I guess it was the foul by Kimmich with him impeding the defender.
  14. Per ESPN.com: LeBron James intends to opt out of the final year of his contract with the Los Angeles Lakers worth $51.4 million for next season and work out a new deal with the team, a source familiar with his plans told ESPN. James, 39, has until 5 p.m. ET on Saturday to inform the Lakers of his official decision. The Lakers are committed to keeping James with the franchise and would be interested in offering the four-time MVP up to the maximum three-year, $162 million contract he is eligible for, sources told ESPN.
  15. This is crazy awesome
  16. The decline of Aston this season has been crazy. Daddy Stroll is going to have to address a lot of issues with some big-time sponsors.
  17. I’m glad they put in the gravel around a few of the turns. It’s helping.
  18. Alonso stays 15th. Russell and Hamilton in 3rd & 4th. Perez & LeClerc struggling. Q3 will be fun.
  19. Alonso needs a great lap to through to Q3. Hamilton in 8th with a minute to go, up to 3rd after his lap. Others still to finish.
  20. Q1 and the Astons continued their fall off the cliff. Alonso gets through, just barely.
  21. The sprint was not too bad. Mercedes had nothing for Max, or the two McLarens. They seemed pretty solidly aligned with Ferrari. That has to be one of the most beautiful venues in all of sport. I definitely want to attend the race in Austria.
