  1. It’s just the name I gave to a party we started having in 2018. It was the summer after my mother died and we had other deaths in the family and I figured a bunch of us needed some fun. I put a bunch of meat on my pellet smokers, limited sides. Lots of Bier and good-natured ribbing. Today I did three beef tenderloin, two pork loins, salmon, & chicken. Some ginger slaw for the one pork loin I turned into something similar to a pulled pork, some Asian cucumbers, and pies from the Oakmont Bakery. It was great fun. Probably about 40 people.
  2. I didn’t get to watch much. I saw bits and pieces as I was getting stuff ready here for MeatFestVIII here at the house today. I’ll have to watch the highlights a bit later. I kinda like LeClerc.
  3. So far nobody has said anything about it. Well done, Chuck. Amazing how the RedBulls are shit now.
  4. no dickin' around in that league!
  5. "That green thing" "We're not sure where it came from"
  6. Is that worse than the wig on the floor?
  7. Mrs Usyk? Just kidding. I can't disagree with what you said. The dude is amazing. He's amazing for 46.
  8. I agree that it is time for a complete re-boot, or extermination, of Renault/Alpine. I wanted them to succeed as I like as many different constructors and engines as possible. And I still have fond memories of Schumacher’s second title with Renault power. I too like Nico. He’s got a dry sense of humor and good timing. Karun is horrible. I try to not watch the pre-race show. I do go straight to YouTube to watch the post-race show though to see the interviews from drivers through the field. I guess Horner could also dip into the Spice Girl $$$ from Geri. I’m glad I saw that first-lap pass by Oscar before I kind of fell asleep on the couch.
  9. Norris with some electrical issue it seems which I reckon helped Piastri
  10. Piastri with a brilliant move for the lead at the top of the hill.
  11. Safety Car still on the track, four laps down. Should be about to start. Now.
  12. Getting ready to start now. Two laps behind the Safety Car
  13. They said pretty bad weather for tomorrow’s race. Should be interesting
  14. Max with the win. Sainz, both Haas and Hadjar in the top-10. Well done
  15. Max got around Piastri on the first lap. The RedBull looks good. Reports that McLaren has temperature issues. Two Haas in top-seven halfway through the sprint
  16. Yes it was. Apparently the group did it first and Ozzy saw the first video and when he and Jack were doing their show they made sure to stop there and see them in person. Those kids will never forget that.
  17. I'm just glad he isn't out for the season. I don't like to see that for anyone.
  18. This sucks. I don't have anything against that kid. I wanted him to do well last year.
  19. I don’t hate it. It’s not awesome or anything but, it’s not the worst thing ever.
  20. Not “about”. That is a great look. The helmet is so much better than the black. It’s insanity that they don’t go to that for every game.
  21. The "real" throwbacks are very nice, Broncos, Eagle, Seattle, Tampa and Dolphins. I'm not crazy about the Steelers WaybackThrowback uniforms.
  22. This I posted July 5 in response to someone else's comment: I know you were jagging but, I decided to go ahead and take a look at their stats while in college. Both are wonderful players. Both played 139 collegiate games. Clark averaged 28.4 ppg while Plum averaged 25.4 ppg. Plum played more minutes per game, 37.4 to 34.8 which, if you just divide the total by 40 minutes, works out to basically nine more games than Clark played. Clark averaged more rebounds per game, 7.1 to 4.3 and assists per game, 8.2 to 3.8. Clark shot better from the floor, 46.2% to 44.3%. Plum did shoot better from 3, 38.2% to 37.7%. Clark scored 3,951 points to Plum's 3,527. Blew her right out of the water.
  23. Imagine being the announcers for that game and actually pretending that it was good.
