  1. They closed Interstate 79 North from Meadville, which is about 90 miles directly north of Pittsburgh. Bad storm.
  2. It’s amazing how awful they are. Although the one OSU guy here said he kind of expected it this season. Probably not at that level of bad, though.
  3. A friend of mine is on his way home to Buffalo. Glad that is not me driving.
  4. Yeah, I'll definitely do it differently next year, or in between to practice. The 18-pounder was a bit too big for not being sure it was completely thawed. I thought about cutting it like you suggested here but, the weather this week has been not very great and my deck is not covered. I also had an airport run yesterday early evening and then Poker Night up at a buddy's farm, so I was pressed for time. I looked at some videos for what you said and it looks like it'd be much easier and consistent. Still, there was no turkey left of what I took up the river today.
  5. So, I sliced it up and the cook was a bit uneven. 85% is perfect and I will gently heat it up and take it with us. Because I was not certain how completely thawed it was, as others have mentioned, I will hold on to the legs to heat up later this weekend. The taste is very good. Overall, I am pleased but, I do a lot better on the smoker with beef, pork and chicken and veggies.
  6. Your helper there is ready to eat.
  7. I just took this off the smoker. It’s a backup turkey for the dinner tomorrow at a friend’s place up on the Allegheny. It looks good and smells better.
  8. I found my 1998 on the Porsche.com website and it’s a really nice search site. https://finder.porsche.com/us/en-US?int_ref=globalnav&int_medium=link&int_id=inventory Or, if you have a friend in the Porsche Club you could look through the membership site.
  9. Yup!
  10. It's a damned shame that the last guy was such a fucking moron!
  11. Nice!
  12. Perez is amazing. Dude is just stealing money now. As for Stroll, I wonder if Daddy is taking his "salary" out of Lance's inheritance.
  13. Wow! Fantastic War Damn Eagle!
  14. Pitt with a solid victory over LSU yesterday afternoon in the first game of the Greenbrier tournament. We are now 6-0. The kid from Missouri City, Texas, Lowe, is our straw that stirs the drink this season
  15. Went to Churchill Downs today
  16. The thing that is going to kill the season is the still rebuilding offensive line. I saw Russ was sacked four times, and the offense can’t score touchdowns. One of the worst inside the 20. Can’t field goal kick your way to a Super Bowl. Defense also had no sacks last night. They need multiple sacks. Still, I had no expectations that they would be sitting where they are now.
  17. Didn’t get to watch the game. Bad loss though. It should not come down to blaming the referee when playing a shit Cleveland Browns team. Bad loss.
  18. Does the Aston LEGO come with a gravel trap to complete the Lance Stroll LEGO?
  19. Yes, his first seven ACC seasons. As I said but, I should have said it more clearly…… ”In Bowden’s first seven ACC seasons……” The surrounding paragraphs also stated Bowden was coaching before 1992 but yes, I should have used a different word order.
  20. You have to go all the way back to 1974 for the last time FSU lost at least nine game. They went, under the expert coaching of Darrell Mudra, 1-10. The lone victory was over, get this, The U, a 21-14 thriller at Miami (6-5). That season FSU lost to #13 Pitt, Colorado State, Kansas, Baylor, #3 Alabama, #14 Floria, #5 Auburn, Memphis, Virginia Tech and #15 Houston. Mudra lasted one more season and the team finished 3-8 before hiring Bobby Bowden who left the idiots in Morganhole. In Bowden's first seven seasons, 1992-98, coaching FSU in the ACC the Seminoles lost a total of nine games. Florida State will most likely beat Charleston Southern, who is 1-10, this week and then lose to Florida to close the season, thus equaling Mudra's 1974 season, and avoiding the 0-11 1973 season. Bowden's final game at WVU was the Peach Bowl vs North Carolina State, coached by Lou Holtz, also in his final game before taking the Jets job, and failing miserably there and he quit with one game left on the schedule, and then moving to Arkansas for the 1977 season.
  21. I am more than a bit shocked that Bo Nix is playing reasonably well.
  22. Better yet, Sasson!
  23. The rivalry brings out the stupid in each team.
  24. Will Levis is the man!
