The A's pitcher? He was pretty vocal about the scandal. He also blocked me on Twitter probably around the time of the 2020 divisional series or win Laureano got popped for PEDs. In short, fuck Dave Stewart.
When I don't have time to cook, I slice up half of one of these, and throw it in with some Blue Runner red beans and minute rice and add some Louisiana Hot Sauce. It's not bad considering the whole process takes about 5 minutes.
I know there was some talk of trading for Peralta at the deadline last season, which I thought would have been a smart move. Seems like he could be an inexpensive insurance policy while we wait to learn more about Brantley's health. His power dropped off after moving to the Rays last season, but he was still slightly above league average for the season.
Given how this market has shaken out, I disagree that we overpaid for either.
The lack of improvement at C and OF is concerning though. At this point, I think we have to hope that Brantley will be healthy and Lee takes the next step in his development.
Bottom layer is chocolate cake. Then you have chocolate mousse and white chocolate mousse with chunks of brownie in it. Then another layer of chocolate cake. It's topped off with a layer of chocolate ganache. It slams and runs about $15. I'd put it up against most bakery made cakes that go for 3 or 4 times the price.
If the plan was to avoid the FA market and trade a SP for bats, wouldn't the smart move have been to pay JV (you aren't using the money anyway) and then trade from your SP depth for a guy like Varsho? Not spending money and trading away a SP after losing JV seems like the least optimal move.
Here's the "big deal" one of the Twitter guys was hyping up last week. It wasn't anything FO or roster related. It's a music video for a Paul Wall song about Bregman.
