  1. Greyton Beach or 30A is another idea. My favorite time to go is in December. Seaside and Alys are done up nice with lights. Dining can be hit or miss in off peak though since staff shortages is still a thing and no one can afford to live anywhere nearby.
  2. Whatever any of y’all do don’t take refuge in any hospitals with Memorial in the name.
  3. That’s the point.
  4. That’s right, mist and sleet most likely. And it’s dark by 5. Hence why if you go plan to bunk up with plenty of food and booze and plans for extracurriculars inside.
  5. AirBnB on the coast in the Pacific Northwest sounds good. Just plan to not go anywhere. I’m there right now so it’s top of mind.
  6. This damn storm isn’t going to let me close on selling lot on 30A. If anything the hurricane could help clear out some undergrowth. I’m worried the buyer is going to realize he is a dumbass for paying what he agreed to pay. Bama grad so it’s only fair.
  7. Sheeeeeeeit. That's a HR.
  8. If we go three and out I predict I turn this off.
  9. This is a great twitter follow. Thanks for posting earlier.
  10. Right and most of these guys live on a ground floor hovel so they don’t need to worry about accidentally falling out a window.
  11. The Russians took out Patton in a car crash.
  12. This plus a breakdown on the different demos.
  13. Bahahahahahaha. (Stupid twitter won’t embed) https://twitter.com/olganyc1211/status/1569007983018786817?s=46&t=atAMxUFmV9CUJ7KuSr2VLg

  15. I hope the atmosphere is similar or better to when we were ranked #1 and just fucking dominated Missouri. That Eyes of Texas that rolled into Texas Fight before kick off was insane.
  16. United’s brioche cheeseburger looks nasty but tastes pretty good.
  17. Wait times are going to be a bit longer than usual this morning.
  18. Do not stay at the Courtyard Marriott at the Memphis airport.
  19. Visiting the USS Texas was a multi-sensory event for a kid that grew up in The Woodlands. First. Travel by refineries. WTF!? The smell. The sights. The fires!!! Where are all the pipes going??!? Rotten eggs in my nostrils! Shit is on fire!? Why do we need petroleum products? Second. Fast food. DQ, to be specific. I don’t know where we stopped. I was probably busy playing with my red GameBoy pocket to know. But damn, we didn’t have DQ in The Woodlands. Third. That cool ass monument with the star. Texas was born here? Odd choice. Finally, the battleship. Badass. Majestic. Walking over the gantry to the deck and immediately putting yourself on one of the anti-aircraft guns. Nothing like it. Going with my grandfather, who was a Korean War vet. Listening to his stories of circumnavigating the globe in his destroyer. Learn what ports he got his tattoos in and hear him talk shit about the officers as we walked through their quarters—seeing his quarter—I definitely needed to be an officer. The anchor. Wow. I did not know chains could be that big. Learn how my grandfather hid from those POS officers in the anchor well while at sea. Probably dangerous and easily I don’t exist. The engine room! Fantastic!!! How far down are we!? I think I’d rather be on the bridge. And finally, the big guns and seeing the size of the shells. I do not want to be on the receiving end. What a great boat.
