  1. If it goes to Hooks I'll ask my partner to run over there and asks what's up with the plane. I'll also have him confirm the interior.
  2. Correct. The yoke is fun until your throttle is pulled back too far for landing (perhaps) and you want to move the yoke over and you can’t.
  3. To be fair I actually did take the photo... just not today. A convenient one too (besides the clouds) because if you zoom in on the Garmin I was over Lake Travis. Routed to Austin Exec though.
  4. I’ll just fly my beech over there and taxi around a bit. I can probably get there in an hour.
  5. Everything of significance happens on a Tuesday.
  6. It’s going to burn through (with the help of a vaccine(s)). You just have to stick it out long enough. I mean there isn’t really another option at this point.
  7. I’m in it for the long haul. No need to get too depressed by the lowest common denominator.
  8. Wait... they caught Covid? What am I missing. I even read the article.
  9. They are wearing HEPA filters. Nbd.
  10. I wish I was spending it alone. I could get started early on my advent beer calendar.
  11. Does not seem entirely cancelled. Link: https://dfw.cbslocal.com/2020/11/15/thousands-line-up-north-texas-food-banks-largest-mobile-food-distribution-ever/
  12. Why are you even talking to your neighbor? That is the first mistake.
  13. Don’t know if this is entirely true. Last year a three acre plot with Teton views could be had for just north of $1mm. Doesn’t seem quite at billionaire level yet. There is a minimum square footage requirements so construction is probably a minimum of $3mm on top of that. Another 40 acre plot with Teton views was $7mm. The price seems low because it currently cannot be subdivided. Also quick PSA. JAC will be closed from April to June in 2022 for runway construction. Surly 1% will need to land their jets elsewhere. edit: this is your $1mm view.
  14. I’m back in Walton County for some r&r and not surprisingly this place is a Covid hotspot. When I was here last month the restaurants were packed and not a mask to be found so it’s not surprising. I will note it is definitely different this time around with masks. There are a number of signs up requesting people wear a mask to go inside and a lot more outdoor seating for restaurants. Thankfully I dislike people so I keep to myself and enjoy the sunsets that keep happening no matter what Covid does.
  15. I’m going to wait for @Captainant to give his approval before I step onboard. Just like I am waiting for greenspoint to give the all clear to leave my house.
  16. The economic impacts of this virus will have ramifications for a decade plus. Some people are crushing it and many many others are in trouble. It’s remarkable. I still cannot believe how strong real estate has been during this. The folks with means are buying up property left and right. I inherited property in Jackson, WY and for the last decade there have been a dozen or so plots for sale off and on nearby. The prices never quite got back to 2008 levels. As of now there are no plots available. Everything has sold and prices have exceeded 2008. Who would have thought.
