OK, OK... But I'm willing to offer a Spencer Sanders AND a Gunnar Gundy!
  3. What's funny about this is Sears was the Amazon of the late 19th/early 20th century. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sears
  4. The ovens are crappy to bake in, heat unevenly but it helps to use a pizza stone or something like a terra cotta tile in the bottom of the oven. You're going to burn the shit of biscuits until you get it worked out. Other then that its OK IMO, just smaller. You have to stay really organized. I think you'd find yourself cooking outside a lot on the grill or Blackstone. The nice thing is having your place. Familiar bed and all that. Weekends should be easy to handle. My limit is about 5 days but I also have 3 daughters that can only handle so much of each other in a day...
  5. Just trying to help you spend your money 😁
  6. After a couple rum and cokes and trying try to be as eloquent as possible - Really to be honest, I don't think buying an RV in lieu of other arrangements is the best way to save money. They are really meant for recreation and to stay in one and be honestly comfortable you have to really want to be there. My wife really loves taking our camper out and I like the trips because it's like having the lake cabin I can't afford and the family time aspect with my kids before they grow up.... Yes we've used our trailer a bunch instead of using hotels but we are not anywhere close justifying the cost of the camper vs renting something. Anyway, if it were me - and I had the means (or credit) - as a business decision - I'd buy another property instead of a camper. Then when your place is done you'd probably get a better return. I'd just call it an investment property and put the >$80K you'd spend on the airstream down and then VRBO it or sell it next year. TLDR: Buying a camper to save money is a bad idea (drunk me)
  7. I like to wheresmycellphone.com people over and over that cut me off or drive shitty and have their mobile phone printed on their windows on their commercial vehicles. Usually I do it when I work the night shift or on the weekends...
  8. Airstreams are built well but I don't know if they are really four season capable, there are other brands with four season models that are better insulated. You'd probably want to put a skirt around it if it's going to be parked there for a while and maybe add some insulation like reflectix on the windows. Also you need to consider your hook ups. Water and electric wouldn't be that big of deal, you'd need heated hoses and at least a 30 amp circuit brought out. Is there a sewer line accessible nearby? A sewer cleanout already near your driveway would be ideal... And probably a large propane tank set nearby because you will go through a decent amount trying to keep it warm.
  9. So the Apple 30% as it applies to Twitter... I'm assuming the Twitter app is a free download in the Apple store and it doesn't cost anything to use twitter (there's the $8 check mark fee but that got suspended right? Or you don't have to have it to use twitter). So then Apple is demanding 30% of what exactly from Twitter? How do they take a 30% cut of a free app?
  10. Serious question: Couldn't he have done that stuff before NIL though? I mean as long as they weren't taking money or gifts couldn't athletes sponsor or spokesmen for legit charities before NIL was a thing? I'm sure NIL makes it easier for them to get hooked up with programs at a larger scale but promoting charities was a thing before, right? Not tying to downgrade Bijan's community service at all.
  11. Probably just her way of staying alert/awake and to keep from dozing off while driving. I work shift work and used to get calls at night from an operator at our neighboring entity. He would call in the middle of the night just to bullshit for 20 minutes just to stay awake. Dozing off at work for a little bit is not great but just means you might let an outage go on for a little bit longer than it could have, not like he's driving a car and his life depends on staying awake.
  12. Why do people walk around in public holding their phones like it's a piece of jellied toast? First of all you look stupid, second no one wants to hear your conversation... I even see people do this while driving. I see it so often I know some of you have to be doing this.
  13. Yeah I don't know.... Not in Texas but when my company hires a contractor to build a new power line or substation it is understood and in the contract that the contractor is fully responsible for his workers' safety and safety (OSHA) compliance. If they violate safety standards it falls back on them. Are you saying that the property owner is responsible for safety compliance of contractors and their employees?
  14. Sometimes you gotta just work with what you got.
  15. Fucking brutal one but here goes...... X 6, 5, X, 9, 7, 8, 10, 4, 3, 1, 2
  16. My favorite Sark memory was when he hired Mike Stoops then had to call him back at the airport to tell him he was unhired.
  17. Looks like you've contributed to her wealth...
  18. What's funny about that is to get that recognition this bunch had to go above and beyond the Sumlin crew that had an actual strip club in the coaches' lounge...
