  1. Bolt on question: is there a good docking station that can handle both my wife’s Macbook and my Dell laptop?
  2. I only caught night one, but holy shit what they did with the drones last night looked epic!
  3. Dead & Company in Boulder tonight!
  4. Grinding a few years in IB will set up future résumé opportunities up for a life time. Get like 2 years and slide into private equity.
  5. Bat City TV has done AV work for us. Fast, reliable and priced fair. LMK if you hit them up.
  6. Will be attending 7/1. My daughter is touring CU and then catching her first / only Dead’ish show on campus!
  7. The new house has a giant oak growing up through second floor deck. At minimum it’s in need of some professional tree trimming come July given how it grows over the house. I’m also interested in what treatments they can give to help ensure it thrives health wise.
  8. The locals are rabid fans and it will be a hot ticket. Love the venue, not really any “bad seats” but obviously the closer the better.
  9. Too busy dancing the hippy shake with 30 year flashbacks in overdrive

It was great, although you had to sift through some gouging. Pretty crowded at 10am yesterday. Got the white album in great shape for $15.
  11. A bunch of buddies turned 50 and hired Soulhat to play at a house party last night. Three original members plus a bad ass drummer. Holy shit they came to play and had a blast despite a smallish crowd of like 50 people.
  12. Whatevs. I’ve got a soft spot in my music heart for them going back to 1993, but swear I saw a moment when lyrics kept coming a second after he turned around. And their jams are most definitely rehearsed, I just didn’t see much real improvisation. But that’s just one guys opinion…
  13. Phish at Hollywood Bowl is an amazing scene, legendary venue.
  14. Saw Widespread Panic last night and it was meh-pic. Dug them in the 90’s, but they are piping in lyrics and scripting the jams in these golden years.
  15. Our new Wolf range is induction which takes a lot of getting used to and I sorta miss gas. Spot on with challenges keeping it clean and scratch free.
  16. Spring skiing is their (your) friend. Before my kids got good, and hooked, there was always the beach vs skiing debate and mega cold dec-feb outings were a headwind. Lean into heated pool and spa afternoons for the wife. You got this.
  17. We were just on a AA flight and got hooked by their Aviator card pitch…got 110,000 miles for getting a card for me and wife. Comes with free domestic checked bags and priority check in for everyone in your reservation. No fee for first year, so bad ass year one IMO.
  18. We’re wrapping up a remodel and did Wolf range / oven / vent with the Sub Zero fridge. Not cheap but the highest of quality. We had a Miele dishwasher that was pretty new and bullet proof and reinstalled that. Good luck with your project, be mentally prepared for some delays and cost overruns from the start to mitigate the angst in a few months.
  19. Living my best birthday life in Zermatt for a big bday. Thanks to those on last years thread that recommended. Everything about this place is fantastic.
  20. The town is a bit sleepy after hours. We leaned into happy hours by the village base (the far one) where’s there’s bars and restaurants but mostly relaxed with cards by the fire at condo. Goat Soup & Whiskey Tavern was touristy solid. The bus system and parking leaves a lot to be desired, so get head around your plans there. Fun skiing, great family mountain.
  21. Aka Levi Bradford. He and Adam used to teach guitar lessons to my daughter, super nice guys.

They take me back to a special place in time when they raged the DFW scene!
  23. Haven’t listened start to finish in 20 years, so good.
