  1. This guy cracks me up. Comey, I had to prosecute Martha Stewart because I prosecuted some other guy who lied to us once. What an honorable guy. Honor, justice for all. Very important stuff, unless your name is Clinton. George, how about asking a real question? Like, James, have you ever been involved in an investigation that gives immunity BEFORE hearing the proffer of testimony. In the history of the FBI? Yeah, right it always goes down just like with the Clinton's. "Guido, we know you pulled the trigger. We got you dead to rights. Who ordered you to make the hit? Ok, you won't talk, eh. Well, here's your immunity. What do you have to say now?. Oh, you acted on your own, without orders from Scarface. Damn, I guess we shouldn't have given you immunity. Oh, well, we had no other way to get you to talk." Yet that is exactly what he would have us believe regarding Hillary's IT guy erasing all her emails that were under a preservation order. That's how Comey's FBI operated. Honor and Comey each have 5 letters, but that's the only acquaintance they have with each other. He's morally unfit to sniff the jock strap of a real FBI agent, this Comey character.
  2. Your problem is that the printer goes into sleep mode when it's not in use. Good luck wading through the thread and fixing it. Ridiculous but common problem. https://community.usa.canon.com/t5/Wireless-Networking/MX922-loses-wireless-connection/td-p/33503
  3. http://www.tabletmag.com/scroll/257335/robert-muellers-beltway-cover-up Nice article by Lee Smith that gets to the heart of the matter: As director of the FBI during the post-9/11 period, when foreign intelligence surveillance and its abuses made regular front-page headlines, Muller knows exactly how the system can be abused—and what the penalties are. He also recognizes that Russiagate is evidence of how it was abused, and who abused it—including some of the same people he worked with during his 12-year tenure as FBI director. The purpose of the Mueller inquiry is therefore not to investigate the mostly ludicrous-seeming charges in the Steele dossier, but to protect the institution of the FBI, former colleagues, as well as the national security surveillance system. Therefore the inquiry has to cover up the sinful origins of the collusion narrative itself—which was born in repeated abuses of power and subsequent crimes committed by US officials in the intelligence bureaucracy and the Obama administration. Smith goes on: By using the justice system as a political weapon to attack the enemies of the country’s elite, Robert Mueller and his supporters in both parties are confirming what many Americans already believe. That in spite of all the fine rhetoric, we are not all equal under one law. There is in fact a privileged class, a ruling class that sees its own interests as identical with the public good, and never pays a price for its failures, its abuses, and its crimes.”
  4. Comey's problem is that he has zero credibility after running an investigation that gave immunity to key targets without getting any testimony from them incriminating anyone, much less the key target. In fact, it appears that they were given immunity in exchange for NOT incriminating Hillary. This includes the IT guy who knowingly erased key evidence that was under a preservation order. Who did he give up for his immunity? Nobody. It is proof of a corrupt investigation. He will never have any credibility after that. Comey's book sheds no light on any of this, but recycles salacious gossip, and his own bitchy opinions. He will always be hated by half the country for costing Hillary the election, and by the other half for keeping her out of prison. I don't see how he can keep a straight face talking about honor.
  5. Breaking news: Stormy Daniels killed in Syrian bombing attack.
  6. Well, Starbucks is a dues paying member of the liberal establishment, so I'm sure the media will give them some positive spin along the lines of "Unarmed black men not shot or beaten during arrest at Starbucks"
  7. The government's approach was "Hey, you guys are selling an awful product that kills people. But you're making a lot of money, so cut us in on the deal, and we'll leave you alone. And we'll make sure you don't get any new competitors." The mafia would be proud of a deal like that.
  8. Sigh, very mixed feelings on Mack. Did a great job when he got here, and I'll always remember that. Just lazy talent evaluation his last five years. How many Heisman candidates can one man overlook? Bradford goes unrecruited. Griffin and Manziel offered as db's. (ok, I'm not sorry about Manziel). Andrew Luck cries when he doesn't get an offer. And shit, it's one thing to make some mistakes on your offensive line recruiting. But damn, we weren't even taking enough, and we are still trying to work our way through it. Still, I respect the guy for what he accomplished. He just should have left after 5 years earlier.
  9. Lots of reasons, many well articulated already. I've had season tickets for a long time, and I still have them. Some years I went to all the games, some years maybe half, and sold or gave away the rest. Now I have to skulk around like a drug dealer to sell them. It's ridiculous. And the cost is an issue. For the price of going to 1 game for 4 people, you can buy yourself a 55 inch TV. Or take a nice trip. There are a lot of factors, but I maybe the biggest factor now is that college football is competing with itself on TV. And losing. I like college football, and every weekend there are outstanding games in crystal clear HD at home. And if it's a day game in September, fuck that. UT administration seriously needs an attitude adjustment toward their fans. You don't build loyalty making it transparently obvious that all a fan is to you is a source of revenue. As much as I'd like to believe otherwise, it's a 1 way street for fans.
  10. Or more likely he was murdered by Palestinians because they wanted a story to make Israel look bad.
  11. Sex biz will survive. Probably in the form of websites out of the country accessible only thru VPNs. Some of the ho's are threatening to out Congressional members in revenge. Like most regulations, you have to be concerned about unintended consequences. Pimps and traffickers will gain power with the ho's losing access to a relatively safe way to market their services themselves.
